all eyes will be on the federal courthouse in Washington, D.C. today, where Little Donny Three-Indictments will be arraigned — but in the background, shitty people will continue to do unbelievably shitty things. here are some high crimes from the last few days.
Rudy Giuliani is even worse than we imagined
when Noelle Dunphy filed her sexual abuse suit against her former employer Rudy Giuliani, we all got a glimpse of what a truly despicable degenerate he is.
Giuliani “then pulled her head onto his penis, without asking for or obtaining any form of consent. He held her by her hair,” the lawsuit states. “It became clear to Ms. Dunphy that there was no way out of giving him oral sex. She did so, against her will.”
on Tuesday, Dunphy filed a series of transcripts of recordings she made, and holy shit, Rudy’s an even grosser pig than we imagined.

and it turns out that Giuliani is a bottomless well of charming beliefs.

Greg Abbott’s razor-wire booby traps finally got someone killed
when Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered his border goons to booby trap the Rio Grande with razor-wire-covered buoys, you knew that it was only a matter of time before some completely unnecessary tragedy occurred.
and so of course, the inevitable happened.
A dead person was found Wednesday stuck to the buoys Texas officials installed at the Mexican border.
nobody should be shocked by this. wanton cruelty is the point, and death is the inevitable result.
A spokesperson for Abbott did not immediately respond to a request for comment late Wednesday.

Elon Musk’s free speech for me, not for thee
Elon Musk claims to be a “free speech absolutist,” but anyone who has spent more than 15 minutes trying to use the pesthole that twitter has become knows that this claim is a steaming pile of horse shit. Elon has deliberately rigged the place so that garbage from the world’s worst trolls gets amplified, while posts from people Elon disagrees with are buried.
you may hate this and I may hate this, but Elon bought the thing and he has every right to run not-twitter straight into the fucking ground if he wants to.
Elon is a thin-skinned man-baby narcissist who believes that it’s not enough to suppress his critics — they must be sued out of existence.
To no one is this more evident right now than the good people at the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH). The nonprofit organization investigates the spread of hate speech across social media, and has devoted much of its recent research to Musk’s many failures since taking over Twitter last fall.
In return for its work, CCDH is now on the receiving end of a lawsuit filed by X Corp., the company that until recently was known as Twitter, claiming that the organization “engaged in a series of unlawful acts” when researching the platform.
this lawsuit has no merit, but big bully Elon is doing what thin-skinned plutocrats have always done — game the legal system to their advantage. Elon can afford to throw a hundred lawyers at this thing and keep it tied up in courts forever, until the under-funded CCDH gives up or collapses.
okay, that’s enough shittiness for today. let us now all enjoy the spectacle of Little Donny Fuckface’s third arraignment.
