Your gifs are so perfect, Jeff. They speak volumes to the insanity we're seeing.

And who in the hell is Amy Gleason???

Today Olga Lautman, Dean Blondell and Zev Shalev were saying that Trump is acting like a big asshole because of nukes. Now, that Trump is on the other side together with Russia, China and North Korea they have like 11,000+ nukes, while countries like France, India, Britain, Pakistan have like 900+ nukes. They point out 2 things. all you need it one nuke because that is it! Therefore these nukes are not really the threat they think they are. They also point out that Russian nukes are probably in the shitty shape that their tanks and other equipment are, and as Olga said, will probably fire a Siberia. They point out that when the American people get fed up with Trump, the nukes are not designed to work in close range like that.

Here is the project 2025 tracker. https://www.project2025.observer/

I’m sorry, but this nonsense about the democrats hiding under rocks is not justified. They may not be doing what you would like, but seriously, what is it you want? Some people complain that Congressman Green was too animated. Some people complain that members were asked to be silent, and of course, I’ll admit, I thought holding up paddles was just lame. But within congress, the minority party have few options. They can attempt to work behind the scenes as those GOP senators and representatives that grow increasingly uncomfortable with the shit show. Senators can grill nominees in the hopes of embarrassing their GOP colleagues (tho they largely seem beyond embarrassment.) And of course, if some legislation actually makes it out of the House and to the Senate floor, then they can engage in whatever procedural gimmicks may be available, culminating with the filibuster. But might I remind of how often the filibuster actually prevented the GOP from doing what it damn well pleased?

The real action is in the streets, in the stock market, the job market and in the courts. So, feel free to criticize Democratic leaders, but you better be making your objections known to your delegation, boycotting MAGA friendly corporations (and cutting back anywhere you can…) and protesting whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Expand full comment
Susan Niemann's avatar

What do I want??? I want them to speak out. I want a more organized, and VOCAL, attempt at communication to the public about what's really happening. A daily presser perhaps? Secretary Pete has been mentioned often to do such an event. Jasmine Crockett and AOC are leading the way in speaking out, dispelling the many lies and attempts of the GOP to ruin this country. The majority of Dems are silent. I'm well aware they are the minority now...but that doesnt mean they stay quiet. The public needs to hear from them.

Am I making my objections known? Oh, hell yes.

Am I boycotting MAGA friendly corps? Oh, hell yes, I certainly am.

Tremendous point.

Expand full comment
Burke's avatar

Maybe a DNC spokesperson or Dem leader or Dem elected office holder could point this out to the Press. Are they afraid of hurting Donnie's feelings with the truth?

Let's get some goddam perspective here:

If any FDIC insured bank president in the country hired Donald J Trump to work in the bank, as anything but a janitor, he or she would be subject to being banned for life from banking. And the board of directors would be liable for civil money penalties, paid out of their pocket, and potentially prosecuted for risking the FDIC insurance fund.

Now, Donald J Trump is in control of the Treasury and the FDIC.

The FBI must be sitting on a thick file of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) that detail the business fraud activities of the Trump Organization. Normally, Special Agents would be assigned by the Director of the FBI to investigate these fraud suspicions.

And the Dems are not speaking out and telling these truths to the public.

We should only be so lucky as an 8Ball being the deciding factor. Based on Magic 8 Ball standard design, approximately 50% of responses are positive or affirmative. You don't even need all the data analyst and stats probability work from the last two months to know it doesn't add up. There were 10k+ new Dem voter regs the month before so KH would have had to lose more than 20k Biden voters. I just don't buy that shit or the narrative that starts with that premise, and I wish MSNBC would stop it's anchors from starting any conversation with - the voters elected trump.
