You're shocked by this? Ok, here's the train to get on board: the bloated mango is the dealmaker of the ages. Because he says so. Because mouth-breathing trailer trash believe he is. He don't need no steenking Congress. I'm glad we could clear that up.

What about the " mouth breathing " billionaire trash ?

Expand full comment
George in Atlanta's avatar

Means to an end. Each of them have one vote. They are a force-multiplier to leverage up the trailer trash, who are legion.

I don't think the billionaires 'believe' in anything, as a human being might. They're certainly sentient, but their minds operate on a completely different level, I doubt that the mango's alleged deal-making prowess cuts any ice with them.

This is probably correct jeff. And lets be fair, the UK has already kissed the Trump Ring, so bad or not, it wont be anything worth much (Im thinking). I also think with the Indian and Pakistan conflict rising up, that is going to force china into that conflict (because China controls part of the Kashmir region), and in so doing, doom the US into making any trade deal with China. But thats only my opinion, you are entitled to tell me I dont know what the fuck Im talking about. ^_^.

I was just reading this morning in German news that new Chancellor Merz talked to Trump on the phone yesterday, in a day filled with meetings in Brussels. Don't know what was said, other than that they need to be firm with Russia about ending the war in Ukraine. I am assuming that after around 5 years working for the German arm of the US company BlackRock I will assume that Merz speaks English and could talk directly with Trump. However, phone conversations are awkward. Did they have a video screen? Could they see each other? Would love to know how that went.

In Brussels he also mentioned that trade was discussed. Merz will be visiting Trump in person soon, and then we will see what happens as each of these European country leaders goes to Trump to try to improve the situation. In the meantime, China has let the Europe know that China is eager to do business with them.

-the UK does seem to have a benefit for their steel industry

-Whereas the US can sell the Brits ethanol, and also can sell beef only if it meets the British standards, and some Boeing jets.

No one really wants to buy US tech when the country can jam it at the whim of people like Trump, Hegseth, Rubio, Gabbard, Noam, etc...

I know there's a lot of wailing about the "cult-like" behavior of the mango's followers and how their minds are controlled directly by Fox, but I think that's just because we expect too much of them. In the face of a tsunami of information that they fucked up beyond all reality, some of them may have just shut down and are doubling down to drown out the cognitive dissonance in their heads. I don't think it matters as much as that the truth really is OUT, and it's getting out at the speed of light on a daily basis. Sometimes people cannot respond to something that they can rationalize as 'not affecting them'. But, if Trump was unassailable in all things, why would his numbers slide off the table on the brutality and criminality of his 'immigration' actions?
