I watched Four Hours at the Capitol last night to remind myself how awful J6 was (not that I really needed reminding as I watched the original in real time). There was footage I’d not seen before. Seeing the interviews with some of the rioters made me want to barf. Those assholes still think it was a beautiful thing. It wasn’t in the film but I’d seen a video earlier of the older woman participant who’d seen the light, admitted her guilt and refused Trump’s pardon. Props to her.

MAGA is just a rebrand of the long running con game run by the wealthiest Americans (and non-Americans) through the Republican Party. The so-called Silent Majority, the Reagan Revolution, the Moral Majority, the Tea Party, and now MAGA all share the same basic tenets:
Divide voters over emotional issues: Abortion, Public Safety, Guns, Religion, Race, Immigration, Climate, Taxes, etc.
Concentrate wealth to the top through tax cuts, privatization, and deregulation.
Repeat as necessary.
Every time the voters begin to understand the long con, the con is rebranded.

I *think* that’s one of the doubles. Notice that his face & neck are so fat that there’s almost no neckgina. But also notice the color. Yes, I know it’s really unnatural foundation. But I’m picking up on what might be jaundice yellow. Which I hope means the real felon has jaundice. Aspirin CAN cause liver problems. & who knows what his other “meds” can do to the liver.
I noticed it awhile back that he looked jaundiced. He exhibits a few comorbidities. Liver failure, cardiac dysfunction, chronic kidney disease, possible stroke or blood clots and the piece-de-resistance, dementia. It's all no bueno.

Filipkowski quoted a Reuters story in yesterday’s roundup. Venezuelan oil has a high cost of extraction, nothing about it fits oil companies’ current plans. The time and cost of fixing Venezuela’s oil infrastructure is estimated at 10 years and billions of dollars.

I read the Reuters article, and it was fascinating. And yes, it will cost billions and billions of dollars and at least 10 years to build the infrastructure to actually extract that oil out of the ground in Venezuela. But, you know that TRump doesn't know any of this, because he's a greedy clown who doesn't know anything about anything. Gawd, I HATE that man.
He considers big action to be a success, but never looks ahead or at the larger picture. When he first ran, he went to Texas to give a speech on energy policy and it was obvious he had no idea how the oil industry operates.
