I don’t know but the fools in Miami gave the Lout a $68 Million dollar piece of prime downtown waterfront property. I remember getting gas at the service station that was there for many years.

Lard Ass will end up building a Condo on the property with a broom closet to be named later designated his

‘Presidential Library’

But the Miami nutters have a history of kissing the Asses of Rich jerks- the Miami Heat play rent free in an Arena custom built for Micky Arison of Carnival Cruise Lines with Miami picking up all maintenance costs to boot

This Nation absolutely has to stop electing these sycophants of the Rich to public office. They give away the farm every single time. For a free cruise or a court side seat at the Heat game- not only are they whores, they are stupendously cheap whores. And we all suffer

News Flash- West Palm Beach just approved renaming Southern Blvd. from PBIA Airport to Mar a Lardo the

President Donald J Trump Hwy. Street signs from the state going up soon.

Time to stock up on spray paint.

Threw up in my mouth a little while typing out the full name. First time ever doing that and probably the Last after suffering the consequences.

In good news, the Obama Presidential Center is opening in June! I did the walking tour around the perimeter of the site that they offered a few months ago and all I can say is there's not enough GOLD! There IS however art by 30 acclaimed artists, a landscaped garden, a picnic area, a vegetable garden, a fancy restaurant and a casual cafe, two ADA-compliant playgrounds, a branch of the Chicago Public Library, an auditorium for lectures and concerts, an athletic center for use by the entire community from basketball leagues to senior yoga classes, and even a SLEDDING HILL. I am so excited!!!!!

Expand full comment
Elizabeth Schulz's avatar

Now THAT will be a brilliant place to visit - and SO worthwhile - and so fantabulous. Of course Michelle had to get her vegetable garden~which I love after her hard work at the WH and attempts to get American children to eat healthier (which of course they attacked her for, smdh). One magat the other day on Insta kept raving about how 'classy' melania is - then I listed her 'einstein visa' gotten by chicanery (how many languages does she actually speak?) her parents being brought in BY their 'son-in-law' (her father's nearly the same age as hubby): her nude photos, including those HE took of her fully naked reclining on a fur on his plane and that person finally shut up. 'Classy' my ass. Someone else posted the recording of her whining about 'what am I supposed to DO, then fuck xmas' - it became much funnier than I'd imagined. Would frump's 'library' have a section devoted to her? Curious. I could just see people bringing in posters of her fully nude and displaying those everywhere, lol. Would NOT be a place for her son to visit at ALL.

I hope trump's 'presidential' library will have an entire wing devoted to his wives - featuring Ivana's unmarked grave, photos of him cheating on wife 1 w/ Marla, and the 'glam' shots of Melania.

And maybe a special 'Pussy Wing' - in recognition of the many recipients of his intrusive and unwanted groping.

Massachusetts state government & the City of Boston softly made it clear to Bob Kraft they were not going to fund nor build a new stadium for the New England Patriots. Not sure if Bob even asked them for one. Willingly, Bob Kraft built a new facility on the same plot of land next to the cheaply built, decrepit, and woefully outdated Sullivan Stadium. Owning both team and facility, Bob decided to improve the entire site. Today, there is year round shopping (yes, gobs of NE Pats logo'd merchandise), year round restaurants, giant bars for pre & post game partying. I rarely see a city owned sports facility that isn't downtown "where ever" with those kinds of services (feel free to inform me of counter examples). IMnsHO, more cities should tell bazillionaire team owners demanding a free stadium/arena/park or they'll move the team to Las Vegas to suck eggs. They'll be doing the team owner & the home city a favor in the long run.

Frankly, I hope the people raise a stink and it is impossible to build, or that the city not allow any sort of parking lot, and then charge a king's ransom for street parking around it.

Right. I live in SoCal and have a dear friend in LA. She said most Americans don’t realize that ICE is still there, rampaging through neighborhoods like hers (Echo Park). It’s a terrible situation. Mayor Bass, Gov. Newsom and our legislators are livid and demanding answers, but being ignored.

Reported by LA resident Jessica Craven (on her Chop Wood, Carry Water Substack) on Monday, 12/8:

“It’s a tough day here in Northeast Los Angeles—ICE is raiding all over the area and we’re hearing of several people having been taken already. I got an ICEBlock alert while writing the newsletter this morning and ran to the car with Mike to try to find a raid supposedly happening 5 minutes from our house. We missed it, but when we got home I learned that ICE had just taken three people at a tamale shop a few blocks from where we’d been.

They’re moving really fast these days, I’m told, because they want to avoid protestors and people with cameras. So they don’t stay in any one place for long. Good. That means what we’re doing is working, at least somewhat. Let’s keep it up.

I don’t need to tell any of you how sickening it is to have ICE thugs roaming through your neighborhood terrorizing people. It is scary. It is obscene. It is devastating. The one thing I know for sure is that those of us who are white have an obligation to show up to witness—and hopefully document, and maybe even stop—what is happening. It is literally the least we can do.

This is a difficult, brutal time. It is hard, indeed, to witness what is happening and not want to check out—to simply pretend it’s all a dream and hide deep under the covers until it’s all over. But those of us in this community, of course, have made a different decision: to check IN, no matter how uncomfortable, or sad, or anxious it makes us, and simply DO something. Because that is what love, justice, and peace demand.”

YOU might like this too, Jeff - or not. Seems (I think it was Saturday - I hadn't heard beforehand), the Town of Islip here on Long Island (and notoriously always republican, now magat) had a VERY large number of protesters surrounding the Town Hall specifically to protest the HUGE NUMBER of 'ice' agents who've been deployed to Islip's streets. Yup, right out there on their sidewalks IN camouflage 'jogging past our day-care centers, dance-class studios, restaurants'. Now we've visited Sayville a very cute and historic village on the main road on the way there - and the stores are terrific - all mom and pop with antiques, specialty, great cafes and restaurants, etc. We haven't gone very often - too busy with other things but I think of 'that' area fondly. My brother's sister-in-law still lives in a town in Islip with her children. Unsure if Sayville is in Brookhaven (our Town/County) or Islip, or right on the border of both? Nevertheless, 'they' are out in full force it seems AND have even a contract to BE there - using Islip's firing range and running their 'training exercises' in full view of the citizens. Long Island (all around) has an issue with extremely high property and school taxes. We do NOT need or want this type of fuckery going on. The amount they PAY that town is a laughable $60,000 for the use of the 'training facilities' and the Town extended the contract in June - according to the Patch article and even re-extended it. We are NOT talking real money so of course they LOVE that deal. Now, the PEOPLE seem to have gotten pissed and turned out en masse to protest not only the REPUKE politicians who continually cave to this BUT also at the ice facility itself. LOTS of yelling and bad blood is beginning to make itself known while I believe they were trying to keep it all on the downlow before they infiltrated other towns such as Brookhaven. OUR School District (I live close by our sole HS) has a very large number of Hispanic students who are welcomed, taught English and who all live in this district. I'm SO afraid they'll be targeted openly which would affect us, our home and our backyard - they'd no doubt climb our fence TO access the school's. These kids are EXCELLING in our schools (the elementary, middle and this specific HS and go on to College). They also participate in our Winning Patchogue-Raiders football team (whose playing fields I could do with a bit tamped-down sound effects tbh) BUT we've supported this School and the teachers/students from day one living out here even when they're a pain in the butt (occasionally). They're doing this all insidiously, I fear - AND likely targeting other NY and other Blue State towns here and there - so it'll be too late to stop them when they massively expand? I've heard copters overhead at times, btw. My SOLE bit of happiness is that EVEN the people there seem to finally be 'getting it' - but is it too little, too late?

You can buy your own health care with the measly $2000 I will gift to you to bypass the insurance companies and buy your own insurance. It's called AFFORDABILITY and a democrat scam. Hell, I'm still waiting for my honorary Juris Doctorate in criminal and civil law from years of reading and researching his abuse of the legal system.

It's also the fact that he loves the pomp and celebrity (and presents) part of being president, so performing in front of an adoring crowd is his happy place. A cabinet meeting talking about the activities of the government is not why he wanted to be president, even if they do kiss his butt, so he can't stay engaged or awake.

I’m hoping that right before the Army-Navy football game, that senile fat fuck gets eaten by worms like Emperor Herod Agrippa I. If he’s attending, it can be part of ESPN GameDay

The biblical character eaten by worms was King Herod Agrippa I, who died a horrible death after accepting worship as a god instead of giving glory to God, as recorded in Acts 12:20-23. An angel struck him with a fatal illness, and he was consumed by worms and died, a judgment for his pride.

Even *if* Noem and ICE gave a shit about sorting out the browns into 'good' and 'bad', I doubt your assertion. Given the collective wattage of a typical ICE team wouldn't power a light bulb, they have shown their incompetence is unbounded.

Doubt it if you must, but there are very few Cubans in ICE detention. Most got the sweetheart Wet foot/Dry foot automatic entry with green card, full range of benefits , instant Permanent Residency and expedited Naturalization.

Cubans have been given extra special treatment since 1959 and they feel they deserved it for some unfathomable reason.

And Cubans have no sympathy for other Latinos who are not Cuban.

Never lived in Miami. I was born in Tampa, which is sort of Miami Lite. If what you say is accurate, I need to start questioning the rampant tales I've heard of citizens swept up randomly and stuck in detention for a week before being released. Some were carrying their passports, but the conventional story is that the ICE goons are so stupid they don't know what they're doing. Could it be I'm being lied to by the leftist activists who are slandering the brave men and women of ICE?

I knew that Cubans consider themselves extra special. Their feelings have no effect on our Gestapo, though.

There are plenty of citizens and legal immigrants being falsely detained but few are Cuban is my point.

We don’t disagree about the lawlessness or stupidity of the ICE goons, just the nationalities of the victims.

Your comment about the dimwit level of most ICE goon squad members is absolutely true. But I’m pretty sure they are giving Cubans a pass because of orders from on high. Trump needs the Cuban vote to carry Florida and he doesn’t want to Piss them off. Haven’t seen any large scale ICE enforcement efforts in Miami and there is a huge Latin population there.
