so ... every time I write about Crown Prince Snotwiper, at least one person will email me to tell me it's wrong to go after Elmo's children. however, I don't think it crosses a line to point out that the kid definitely has a penchant for mining for nose gold, and marking his territory with it

I don't think it counts as "going after" little X (or whatever horrible thing it is that Elon named that poor child) to acknowledge that he's literally a snot-nosed kid. The fact that he's being trotted out in public (in the Oval Office, for christ's sake) as evidence of Musk's factitious fatherly love is something that should be mocked. It's not disparaging the kid, it's pointing out the disturbing behavior of his incredibly clueless, self-absorbed, actually abusive father. Who puts their son in this humiliating and potentially dangerous limelight? What kind of "family man" does that?

So let me tell you a little tale about Social Security last week. The Federal District Judge in Maryland entered a Preliminary Injunction against the DOGE bros looking at and sharing willy-nilly all of our extremely private information in the SocSec databases. So the Acting Director had a big mad and said "well if they canʻt look at the data I guess nobodyʻs going to get their checks." That must have gone over like a lead balloon because late last night I (and probably a zillion other SocSec recipients) received a cryptic email from the press office of SocSec trying to imply that it was the court that was stopping the checks but then there was a "clarifying order" so now he could send out the checks. TOTAL LIE. So if any of you also get these emails from the SocSec press office, read them carefully. They are usually propaganda.

Especially in light of Progressive apathy, without which we wouldn't be having this conversation, at all. {81 million[+] people voted for Biden, but failed to "see the need", going forward. In the end, what matters is the fact that over 6 million fewer votes were cast for Harris, than were cast for Biden - in the 2020 election. Of course, the GOP has never been shy about stealing every single vote that they can - by all the means you've documented - including the fact that they've never honestly described their simplistic "agenda", because if they had, none but the top 3% of voters would support them, fuckstain maga-minion-cultist-seditionists notwithstanding. When Sanders was asked, years ago, how to countenance this treasonous influence, his response was simple [though not easy.] He said [simply] if they steal 5 million votes - then we must inundate the election with 10 million more. 90 million registered voters [or those who were eligible] failed to vote, in 2024. Again, hard to understand - but impossible to justify. If there are any more elections in the future of this nation, recalcitrant Progressive apathy will share culpability with the brazen stupidity exemplified by cultist minions, alongside leadership of the treasonous cabal of [so-called] republican criminality - but "even money", as to who shares the bulk of the blame...

The second even bigger to the creeps who have all the money and want more, is the Student Loan Portfolio. There is so much money sloshing around in there, they can’t resist. Trump and Musk are both stupid and playing games. I look at each action and surmise if it is legal or not legal. Most of Trump’s Executive Orders are illegal. Those I know the court will cancel in due time, like a month. I get neither worried, nor anxious about those. Each of those illegal Executive Orders constitutes a fraud on the American people. This fraud is rumming rampant. The courts are now intervening, but the court should turn proactive by citing these illegal Executive Orders as contempt against the plain language of The Law that takes taxpayer dollars to mitigate (damages). We the people are the 5th estate that must back up the courts. DOGE has cost us taxpayers $ billions already. We the people pay the bills here. I hear the world’s wealthiest peckerwood*, a derogatory Alabama term for a white person, whining about suffering (equitably I might add) from the anger that the peckerwood* in fact caused. I wish the non tax-paying peckerwood* neither the pain, nor the stain. One does not easily shake off international disgust. Musk will need to change his stripes and become the giver, not the taker. That is Peckerwood’s call. Only Peckerwood* can fix his problems. Peckerwood* has engendered bad will by his cruel actions. Poor, poor pitiful Peckerwood*. https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/musk-whines-poor-poor-pitiful-me?r=3m1bs

Use of the term peckereood, an inversion of woodpecker, dates to the early 19th century. The Oxford English Dictionary traces the earliest printed use to an Alabama newspaper in 1835. Peckerwood was in use in reference to white people by 1859; it often suggested a white person who was a little off in the head, backward, or poor. The shortened form peck was in use in the same sense in the 1920s. In African American folklore during the 1920s, the woodpecker symbolically represented white Americans, in contrast to the blackbird that cartoonishly represented African Americans.

All of them Southern. Southerners are always complaining the rest of us think they're stupid, and then...

The courts are being undermined every single day by tRump & Muskrat. Those 2 are going after the law firms that tried to hold tRump to account & the law firms are folding! Trump also has lots of appointments he can make to the Federal bench. We cannot rely on the courts. It’s up to the people now. Will they be willing to stand up & save our democratic republic? I fear not

Carl, I had been ruminating over how much money DOGE has wasted thru its actions...billions may be right....lost productivity for no reason, termination of vital programs, etc. This has nothing to do with saving money we all have known...this is destroying the government for benefit of E & Putin.
