Jeff, but, but Putin has a secret weapon Steven Seagal or that freedom loving Tara “I finally have freedom” Reid when she arrived in Moscow few weeks ago, or Snowden or pedo Scott Ritter... now lets review all the Putin lovers such as Donald, Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham or all those senators that went to Moscow over July 4 a few years back or all FAUX-GQP... They all have shit on their faces this morning and I couldn’t be happier as I point out these bad decisions to my MAGA enthusiasts. Maybe Putin will end up in a shitty bug infested golf motel in Florida somewhere... At this moment in history I am so glad Joe is our President.

Can you imagine the outrage DeSantos must feel about men who dare to be not only Black but also tall, thin, and toned? It’s a three-fer.

We fear what we’re not part of. DeSantis is so fucking awkward. Does he know “those” people have sports teams that bring revenue to your low rent state? He’s beyond racist and stupid. Goes hand in hand.

Woke up cranky this morning. So just by virtue of being awake everything is stupid until caffeine kicks in (waiting) and it’s still not looking good for anyone who dares speak. Good thing you put stupid in print. This week’s winner in stupid by my standards is suicide by implosion. Nice vacation in Greece? Naw, I’ll just kill myself in the most stupid contraption ever made.

Because God knows out of all our leaders in the last 40 years, peacenik Joe Biden the Hippie is the one most likely to start WWIII.

And definitely not the guy his detractors are trying to get re-elected with a criminal record LONGER THAN THE LIST OF FUCKING STATES.

Stupidity really outdid itself this week.

I don't know if this is place to inform people about this, but since we're discussing stupid, I will: I was at the Atlanta Hartsfield airport this week and asked an agent if all the seats on a flight to Heathrow were filled; they were not. I asked if I could have one of them, but to my surprise, he said yes, but he added that I would have to provide my credit card. Huh?

Yo Jeff my friend. I could not retrieve the 404ed webpage shown above, but I did go and scrape up some anti-hyposcricy material for you to dine on:

The 2022 Florida Statutes (including 2022 Special Session A and 2023 Special Session B)

Title XXXIX

COMMERCIAL RELATIONS

Chapter 683

LEGAL HOLIDAYS; SPECIAL OBSERVANCES

683.21 Juneteenth Day.—

(1) June 19th of each year is hereby designated “Juneteenth Day” to commemorate the traditional observance of the day the slaves in Florida were notified of the Emancipation Proclamation.

(2) The Governor may issue annually a proclamation designating June 19th as Juneteenth Day and calling on public officials, schools, private organizations, and all citizens to honor the historic significance of the day.

History.—s. 1, ch. 91-252.

“Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery…and is an important opportunity to honor the principles of the Declaration of Independence and celebrate the achievements and contributions African Americans have made, and continue to make, in Florida and across our nation,” the governor’s “Juneteenth Day” proclamation said.

Bill making Juneteenth, Emancipation Day legal holidays passes Florida Senate

https://www.news4jax.com/news/florida/2021/04/21/bill-making-juneteenth-emancipation-day-legal-holidays-passes-florida-senate/

Gov. DeSantis: This is not how you should honor Juneteenth

Certain Florida politicians and DeSantis responded by passing Senate Bill 7066, which eliminated the right to vote for returning citizens who were given this fundamental right back under Amendment 4 by making voting contingent on an individual’s wealth.

DeSantis reached back to the 1870’s, to the Jim Crow era, to institute a poll tax to eliminate voting rights. In our studies, we found that 77 percent of Floridians otherwise qualified to vote under Amendment 4 still owed LFOs (legal financial obligations), and those individuals were disproportionately Black.

On May 24, a federal judge found that this law was nothing more than a pay-to-vote scheme that fundamentally violates the U.S. Constitution.

Now, DeSantis is appealing the ruling to the Eleventh Circuit Court. Is it a coincidence that they chose to file it by Juneteenth?

The significance of that date isn’t lost on Black leaders around Florida and across our Country.

I want your take on who is Stupid, Prigozhin or Putin in the situation unfolding in Russia? Or is it staged to make us all think that Russia is too distracted to stand up to a counteroffensive in Ukraine. The idea that Prigozhin shot down 3 Russian planes makes it seem like he might be serious. Questions of whether Putin fled to his getaway Palace on the Black Sea, where I assume he has ships to take him away if needed. However, where would he go? The ocean can be unfriendly as more than one ship has found out. Iran? South American countries? African countries. Whom can he trust if he is on the outs. Or will Prigozhin's head roll. I am finding it very scary to watch the further destabilization of Russia, a nuclear power, if not a military power. Supposedly China has the largest military, then comes India, then USA, then Russia. However, I believe that we get more bang for our buck because our military is better trained than Russia's. Wonder whether Musk will have anything to say about this seeming coup in Russia. Will it lead to civil war. Prigozhin with 25,000 soldiers does not have the numbers that Russia has, but where are the Russian soldiers? At home, or in Ukraine. How many are at home guarding Moscow?

civil wars and revolutions are messy, unpredictable things and there's very little relible information right now. Prigozhin is a murderous thug who would probably be more competent at killing Ukrainians than Putin, so there's really no one to root for here.

There is that saying, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." I would not call that bald Nazi a friend, but if he takes out Putin and hopefully cuts bait on Ukraine, who are we to get in his way during that time.

I am thinking of African countries where the people are the regions are in unmittigated H-LL! because of the instability of their regions with the ongoing war. Prigozhin might be suffering PTSD since he has been on the frontlines and his men with him. How many others in the Russian military where PTSD is apparently not a thing other than alcoholism, which many had before being sent to fight have PTSD?

What’s next? Will they say Biden declared a War on Billionaires by imploding a tiny submersible in the North Atlantic?

On one hand, Joe Biden is a senile, doddering old man who stutters when he talks. On the other hand, he’s shrewd enough to run rings around Kevin McCarthy in the budget negotiations. On one hand, he clumsily trips over stuff that’s in his way. On the other hand, he’s machiavellian enough to engineer an implosion of a submersible to distract from his son’s crimes. On one hand, he’s too old to be president. On the other hand, he’s smart enough to control his *crime family”.

I’m getting whiplash.

I was in Big Sur, CA at Esalen Institute (an amazing place with an illustrious history) this past week. There is a shortage of internet and a lot of trouble to go through just to log on, hence a week without news. Instead there was a lot of staring out at the most spectacular views you’ve ever seen in your lifetime. Hooray!!! I only share this to say that I DID NOT miss this whole week of stupid, a very temporary relief now that I’m home again.

It is a wonderful view & place to BE, no doubt.

Eventually we have to come back to our typical reality.

I love the lead-in suggestion that baseball is a “thinking man’s game”, to which DeSantis countered that basketball is predicated on physical skills.

I have worked with a lot of teachers who think that way about people too. I will get a Black student from them and they will tell me, "this child is the best natural athlete I have ever taught!" Then I have to spend my year undoing the child's impression that the only thing that is good about them is their athletic prowess, and that they are not bright. It makes me furious. I could write a book of stupid things fellow teachers have said to me about children, and in front of them too. Anyway, I am tutoring a rising seventh grader this summer who loves basketball. He is Chinese-American. Right now we are working on researching with reading, writing and presenting. He chose to research Michael Jordan. While we are looking at the good and bad in his life as he develops his thesis and finds evidence to support it, I am learning a lot about Michael Jordan that I did not know. One thing you could not say is that he is not super intelligent. In fact, this boy is choosing the words, imaginative and a great critical thinker. So, DeSatan, as my grad school nephew who lives with us calls him, clearly knows nothing about basketball except that a lot of the players happen to be tall. I will give him that. NBA seems to discriminate against people who are under at least 6 ft 5, and many are over 7 feet which is the definition of a giant, as I learned from looking at a photo by Diane Arbus and looking up the definition of giant. https://artmuseum.princeton.edu/collections/objects/13410

So, now giants are another category of people for DeSatan to discriminate against.

I almost get sick reading this week in stupid because the stupidity is so contagious to the maga cult. Anyone who can believe this crap about Biden dragging out information about the submersive can believe all the other bs & they seem to be everywhere & tell all their stupid friends. No one ever seems to say they disagree with them.
