I enjoyed believing in them in middle school when half of the girls I was friends with were "experts" in tarot cards. We also had seances and levitations at sleep overs. It was so much fun!

Of course. How did I forget the Ouija board. That was part of our sleepover experience too. And neighborhood boys in the neighborhood throwing pine cones, or acorns at us over the fence into the backyard where we were holding these events in summer was part of the fun too. It would break up our trance as we ran screaming and chasing after them down the alley at night.

Oh yeah, we boys had our own Weedgee boards that we stared at in a trance while hoping to get some answers.

I'm not totally sure I don't -- not as a mystical thing so much as a focus for the reader's thoughts. I learned from a friend's mother, who claimed to be part Gypsy and had a very old deck of cards from Spain that looked nothing like the Rider-Waite set, although the arcana were similar. The cards told me when I was pregnant, and later, when I asked who I'd marry next once I divorced the no. 1 asshole (joking, with no intent whatsoever to get married again) Gypsy mom said I already knew him. And yes, I had already met the love of my life over a crashed mainframe at NASA; just didn't know it yet...

I just hope that this particular reader knew what she was doing... I WANT TO BELIEVE TOO!

I remember watching the insurrection unfold with tears in my eyes - asking: "What has happened to us? Who are these people who call themselves Americans?" And I am now at the point when I want to stand up and scream "What about the majority of us? When do we get justice?"

Today's cry from the Republicans is "Happy entrapment Day." Sickening.

I was both shocked and not surprised because I had been worrying about Trump staging a military coup since the April before, once he started talking about stolen election, which was quite long before he actually went to steal it. I think we need to be making a stronger showing about the stolen elections of both Trump's attempt, and the stolen election that gets Republicans as the majority in the house. A good commercial or two about the methods Republicans use to steal elections. In fact, Clinton was so good in Town Halls in 'splaining things to the people. We need him out there explaining how Republicans have Gerrymandered and intimidated their way into power even when their ideas are unpopular so that plain folks start to wake up. I also think Democrats need to reclaim WOKE and go "do you know what's going on?" "Nope, then you are not WOKE!" "WOKE FOLKS ARE FOLKS WHO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON!" So either you are WOKE or you are a dummy! Let us say it out loud.

And I remember the first Jan 6th, watching it all start to unfold, at right about this time of the day, and thinking, "Where is the president? Why isn't he saying anything?" Even then, for a few more hours -- I hadn't seen the speech on the Ellipse at the time -- I believed that even Trump would stop what was happening, that it had all gone too far. But now we know the depths of his traitorous behavior. It still sickens me.

“In an earlier article published in the Georgetown Law Journal in 1998, Kavanaugh wrote, “The Constitution itself seems to dictate, in addition, that congressional investigation must take place in lieu of criminal investigation when the President is the subject of investigation, and that criminal prosecution can occur only after the President has left office.” In the same article, Kavanaugh wrote later on, “Whether the Constitution allows indictment of a sitting President is debatable.” (Emphasis his.)”

I believe that Trump won in 2016 for three reasons: Comey’s October surprise, Russian interference, and the MSM bending over backwards throughout the entire campaign with stories to make it appear that Trump wasn’t some kind of incompetent, lying, con artist buffoon but a viable candidate for the hardest job in this country. The both sideisms made my head explode. But hey, they made record profits. For this very reason, I believe they could not be happier that Trump is the Republican candidate. And they are doing it again. Now let’s talk about the strange fuck with the guns. For me, the scariest part is the wallpaper. I wish someone would come for that.
