And also because of allegations of bodies buried on Epstein's ranch in New Mexico. And powerful men around in the US and Europe resigning because of their involvement with Epstein. But the Epstein file scandal is not going to go away with his sudden attack on Iran.

I was recently watching Downfall (which seems to be trending for some reason) and an early scene with Hitler and Speer walking around the enormous model of Germania while the Red Army shells the city reminded me so much of Trump's Washington plans. At one point Hitler remarks that the Soviets flattening Berlin will make it so much easier to rebuild after the war is over! "We've spent thousands of hours on this model, Speer," Hitler says at one point. Later, Eva Braun leads a rousing chorus of drunken antics that remind me of Kash Patel's locker room spasms (apparently so bad that even Trump was "displeased." Make of that what you will, people).
And now a couple of felonious murdering tyrants are co-warring in a last attempt to evade prison. The difference is that in Israel, the missiles are falling and citizens are dying. Here in the US, we need our own government to handle the citizen murders.

We want the myth of Mount Rushmore, not the realities of slavey, genocide, and racist imperialism that three of those four men exemplify (Lincoln alone escapes condemnation, so one out of four) let alone the genocide that applauded an egomaniacal immigrant to deface one of the Lakota's sacred mountains with four giant white faces and a pile of rubble three times larger than the sculptures. Mount Rushmore does stand for America in that way. Good idea that sounded amazing, but we never did shit about making it real.

The 20 million (at best) north of Mexico were thinly spread, except for concentrations like the Pueblos of the southwest, and the Mound villages in the Midwest, such as Cahokia which neared 20 thousand before collapsing apparently because of infrastructure issues with water distribution. Where there is little trace it is because the density was low.
I admit I'm off in my population figures by a lot, but when you look at what European settlement has done to the land (especially the ravaged west, and especially since 1910) it's a ludicrous argument. I, too, am 84 and agree with you. The young adults of our country have never known a peaceful moment and are dealing with undefined fear and anxiety of the unknown. I was raised to be a good citizen, proud of my country and willing to do my part like the Peace Corps. Because I was expected to tell the truth, be respectful of my elders, accept responsibility I am continually horrified by the misinformation and actions of the current leadership.
