All the little Hitlers coming are out of the woodwork under Trump. Bovino is one in a long line of Hitler wannabes getting hired under the Big Hitler wannabe.

Also, Trump groping his daughter is Yeech. I would rather be in the Shut Up Piggy category then the grope your daughter, or someone else's daughter category when Trump and Epstein are around. I wonder what his daughters will do when their daughters are teenagers.

From my experience with my dad's dementia, it's best to keep them away. My dad once said to me during a family Christmas "I suppose it's wrong to admit that I lust after my granddaughter." She was 10 at the time.

She was never alone with him again.

Paula, that sounds like great advice. My mom does not seem to have this problem in dementia, but I have heard from a friend that they had to move their dad again and again and again because he was trying to sexually assault the women in the retirement homes.

I was molested by my grandfather from the age of five until I finally managed to avoid him when I was 12. I think I only avoided rape that last time by locking myself in the bathroom until my parents arrived to pick me up. I was never alone at my grandparents’ house after that. My parents had no clue what was happening. He had convinced me that my parents would be mad at me if I told them, and of course I believed him.

They do. I had dissected a fetal pig in seventh grade science. It was a horrid experience. Not the dissection so much as that my lab partner was picking at the pigs liver with tweezers and then squealing, and also when I was doing what we were supposed to be doing because she could not do it. It was super annoying, and made it hard to work. Then, I was getting sick from the formaldehyde because it triggered my asthma. I complained and the science teacher said some really inappropriate thing to me, and later on she was my colleague. Next it was lambs brains. But, nothing was like dissecting the grasshoppers in sixth grade science. We had a female and she was filled with eggs. They looked like brown rice and I could not eat brown rice for years after that because I associated it with the formaldehyde smell, which triggered my asthma. Eight grade was chemistry, and accidents with goofy boys. Sorry, I am going down memory lane now all because of one image. I am free associating. I could see this in a Trump speech without the connecting words or sentences.

Bob, while I am a big fan of both Kay Scarpetta mysteries, and "Bones" I am not so big on true crime. Now they are creepy to me, whereas when it is not "real" I can be quite interested in learning about how they use forensics to figure out what happened. In fact, my daughter tells me how I scarred her by having "Bones" on when she was little and she came in the room to tell me something and was very disturbed by what she saw on the screen. Both are so interesting. I like to learn while in make believe, but if it is real it is too creepy for me.

“Bones” was an interesting show, although some of the investigation techniques don’t exist yet. And it was based on an actual forensic pathologist from Canada.

Karen, The Episode is called "Der Hammer." Yes it is with Karl-Friedrich Boerne. My husband and I watch an episode before bed each night. Here is the link. https://www.ardmediathek.de/video/tatort/der-hammer/wdr/Y3JpZDovL3dkci5kZS9CZWl0cmFnLWI0MjU3YmQ5LTFiNmUtNGY5My04YjkyLWUzOGI5MTEyMTdjNg

The pigs are about 26 minutes in. If you like Tatort, and this is the most popular Tatort Duo supposedly, which is why they and their cast have been on for 23 years, then you will like this episode too, which we watched last night. It is called "Fiderallala", and shows Boerne in a new light, but not really. https://www.ardmediathek.de/video/tatort/fiderallala/wdr/Y3JpZDovL3dkci5kZS9CZWl0cmFnLXNvcGhvcmEtMDcxZjZjMjYtMTEyZi00YzY4LWIxNzUtZGVmOGIxODZlMjM3

Also, look at the students in the lecture. How many US shows have 2 brown skinned students in a row answering questions in a predominantly White class? Not typical in a German show either, but more power to Thiel and Boeme. Also, my husband knows that this is the Thiel I like, and the other one I feel the opposite about.

Thanks for the links. I've been watching half an episode every night of Tatort Münster. (My husband doesn't understand German, and the more recent episodes come without subtitles). My family lives near Münster, so I love seeing Thiel cycling down the Prinzipalmarkt.

And yes, the cast diversity is great. I also like that the people look like ordinary people.

IMHO, most, not all, elected Repubs are completely unable to "do their jobs" meaning working for their constituents and upholding their oaths of office. I don't know if that's because the MAGAs are so rabid about "owning the libs" and don't care what punishments they endure for that goal, or they're just clueless morons. My point tho, is that elected Repubs are busy re-arranging the deck chairs on the SS Trumptanic and happy to do so. When the boat sinks, they're going with it. Apparently joyful to keep all their ill-gotten gains, the insider trading profits, massive "campaign" donations from the oligarchs and multi-nationals, right up until the money spigot is slammed shut and they head off into the sunset never to be re-elected again.

I have spent all last night and this morning absolutely devastated over the loss of Rob and Michele. I had the honor of knowing them personally so it has broken my heart to learn of their tragedy -- and likely at the hands of their own son.

I was holding it together mostly until reading that disgusting absolutely ABHORRENT post that the MEGALOMANIC in the Oval posted -- diminishing their deaths to make it all about himself.

And in that same message giving approval to murder or death for any one person that dares to speak against him.

It has literally made me want to vomit.

I need you all to know that Rob and Michele were the purest of souls -- absolute in their kindness, warmth, and generosity. All of this is just horrific and batshit.

But people must remember; the pricktator isn't elected to be competent. He's not elected to be moral. He's not elected to even be a legal person. It's fine for him to be a moldering, skeezy predator just as long as he does his real job for those who elected him. Smash the minorities that the unreconstructed hate. Especially Black people, especially trans people. And also to lock down the women—especially the ones with 'danger hair' and pronouns who won't fuck the chuds—and make them subservient again. I refuse to believe he was "elected" legally. Musk fucked with the results through the compromised voting machines and his satellites that were turned on that day and then turned off the next. Precisely. I'm tired of hearing the mealy-mouthed excuse for the Demento voters, that they "didn't vote for this"--whatever the latest atrocity is that his regime is committing. The jackasses who voted for him voted for exactly is happening right now: they knew it and they wanted it when they filled out the ballots. That psycho hardcore base of his was hoping for his win and therefore everything that is now destroying the US.

The thing about “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is that it was completely made up by MAGA and is not a clinical diagnosis. So…I made my own definition of TDS:

A term used to describe the support and loyalty for Donald J Trump, either blind or contrary, without regards to the health, safety, and well-being of the American nation and its People.

I found it interesting that donald ASSUMED the murderer was one of his MAGAs. That the person was so driven to hatred by the Reiners' political views, that it would be understandable that they were murdered by someone with "TDS." (Of course, turns out that probably isn't the case at all.)

And either spare yourself, or DON'T spare yourself the fragrant, steaming nugget of prose dropped by Mr Wonderful on the occasion regarding Rob Reiner's TBS.
