If anyone hasn’t yet heard what Jeff and Neal are referring to, “Without detailing their reasoning, the justices kept in place a lower court order that said hospitals cannot be required to provide pregnancy terminations that would violate Texas law”. I would guess that many good, caring doctors are going to be leaving Texas in droves, if they haven't already. If I cannot treat patients the way I think they need to be treated without risking huge fines and jail sentences, I think I would leave Texas for somewhere else.

So I imagine as bad as it may be now, it will get worse fast...and the country probably won't know the real statistics regarding the deaths, because I'm sure Texas won't report them.

I’m not sure. The HIPAA form does have an authorization to share with an attorney or governmental agency but it must be specified who/what agency. I’m not clear under what circumstances anyone would specify a government agency. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oh, there is room for more at the table of shame. My candidate is Merrick Garland, who waited two fucking years before naming Jack Smith as special prosecutor. Imagine what would have happened had Smith gotten the nod even one year earlier.

If Harris wins and the insurrection is defeated I hope Garland is the first person to be pushed out. (And Obama was going to name him to the Supreme Court!!)

Fact of the Garland investigation should be researched before trashing his efforts to get to the bottom of the Jan/6th plot, which was in the works for months.

Garland immediately started an investigation into the meeting at the Willard Hotel, Bill Barr killed that investigation, just as he did the Reagan Irangate, and HR Bush Iran Contra investigations Stephen… Reagan was on the cusp of being indicted for treason by the way! All of this has been investigated, documented snd and a plethora of articles have been written about all of Barrs fuckery over his time inside the beltway!
