I ask just one favor: if the video above moves you to scroll down here to the comments and voice your opinion on trans people in sports, I would ask most politely for you to constrain that impulse. not today, please.
Two substacks, The Distance and Reality's Last Stand, both deal with reasons other than bigotry and busybodiness for opposing the gender ideology cult.
Jeff has asked that we not discuss that here. I will do as he asks. It's his blog.
As the great RuPaul says...we’re all born naked. The rest is drag. I choose to wear souvenir t-shirts and stretchy pants. I choose to climb rocks and ice. I choose to have rainbow-colored hair. I choose to clean up sometimes and go to the opera. And I choose to read Jeff’s posts religiously. Enjoy a well-deserved break, Jeff.
That guy reminds me of this quote by Thomas Jefferson: “It does me no injury for my neighbour to say there are 20 gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”
The great American pandemic is the inability to mind one's own business. I think it's ridiculous to be so fearful of someone doing something that will never have an impact on your life. We all have more on our own plates than we can handle so stop eating from someone else's.
The underlying dynamic behind Barry Mathews's post (and others like him, like Texas Paul and the very funny Trae Crowder) is to point out the hypocrisy of a whole lot of GOP wackadoodles who profess to want to "limit the size of guvmint," so that it fits inside your bedrooms, doctors offices and uteruses, evidently.
Texas Paul. I wondered if it was the same guy, Medias or something shows his videos often, or used to often when I was on Twitter. Seems like a decent chap.
I have seen this video and another one like this on someone else's page too. I am visiting friends in Bremen, Germany today where they have elections on Mothers' Day. A great thing to do to honor mothers everywhere. My friends were showing me pictures of their youngest son in the Cooperative where he lives, and once a year they have a Trans Day, and every dresses in drag. Some might call it cultural "appropriation," but I call it "being in solidarity."
The first tweet I ever read when I first signed on to Twitter was yours. And I’ve never stopped. So, please, take a break and get comfortable, enjoy…but don’t forget to come back. If I have to live in Arizona, I have to have you in my feed!
For 25 years, I have run a multibreed Dog Rescue, now based in Connecticut. Today, I am at home on this gorgeous day trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing on the Dog Adoption front. Our once vibrant adoption program has fizzled lately, and unfortunately, there is no shortage of Shelter dogs in need, thanks to human dumbfuckery, which is not restricted to Politics.
Thank you for what you do. I have 2 rescues and they’re the center of our lives. Our mostly-Lhasa-Apso is the sweetest girl. The pound said she was vicious and they were going to kill her if not for the rescue that saved her.

I usually tell the Trumpers, "Why do you give such a shit about that?"

He didn't mention sports.

That guy is a fucking treasure, just like you.

I hadn't known this quote, I'm glad you added it
Jeff, YOU are a fucking boss! Thank you for everything you do...now back to the hammock!
I will never understand why anyone would think anything differently than this man! I couldn't have said it better.
Have a well-deserved break, Jeff! You're the best, and I, for one, appreciate you!
Without hate, some assholes don't feel alive.
Sad but true.
Sad but true.
Have a good day now yourself! To each and every one of y'all.

His name is Barry Mathews. https://www.bearthevoice.com
Thanks. Totally cool to flip the switch.
Isn’t there also a similar character, Texas Ted?

💗 this guy. Everyone should have that attitude. The 🌎 would be a better place.
Loved the video. Thanks for sharing. Truth.

To quote one of my all-time favorite greeting cards: “There’s a word for Mothers like you... - T H A N K S”😏
Y’all not may not get a rest. With GQP crime at an all-time high you may not get the break you deserve. Hopefully Georgia will do something soon.
I know. I've already written the Sunday entry for the next 'this week in stupid'
