some personal good news

at long last...

friends —

seven weeks ago, in early October, Ms. Spouse fell and broke her hip.

here’s the good news: after three weeks mending in the hospital, and four weeks regaining her strength in a physical rehabilitation residence, Ms. Spouse has fully recovered, and is ready to come home.

after I click ‘publish’ on this post, I will go collect her and fetch her back to our house.

so, apologies for not writing you a full-length piece today — but for the first time in almost two months, Ms. Spouse and I will be getting to spend a quiet day together at home.
