Has someone started a list how many MAGAs, Republicans, and pastors are arrested on a daily basis for raping children in this country?? It's every fucking day. I read the news and then I need a shower. Puke is puke whether it's on silk rug or a back alley. It's still puke.

I started making a file of links of articles about religious groups in the US that are in trouble for raping children. I wanted to show it was not limited to one denomination.

So, I would hope church members would be up in arms about their neighbors children that they go to church with being assaulted, because this is also a power dynamic just like all those politicians Epstein has on his list. But, they don't care about the people they know, and probably don't believe them.

Patrick, A former friend spend a lot of her life with predators living in their house preying on her parents, who were "God fearing" Iowans, after their son was snatched from a Boy Scout camping trip. Actually, he and 2 other boys disappeared before the group actually left on the trip when they were all gathered together waiting to leave. They were never found, but so called psychics would contact her parents and then move in with them, and took over the room she shared with her sister and they had to move to the basement.

Years later it was found that the Scout leader and his son were pedophiles. Don't think there was ever any resolution for her family, since her brother was never found. Horrid isn't it?

Go to The Moral High Ground substack, written by Evan Hurst. He's keeping a list. In fact, so many disgusting, creepy, illegal things directed at children and youngs by conservative mega church stars, pastors, priests, ministers, preachers, rabbis, children's summer camp and bible camp counselors, teachers, politicians, and so on happened while he was on vacation this fall, he's still trying to add perps to the master list. He's up to over 180 entries, and that's just the ones who got caught and have been arrested, or indicted, or found guilty! The most recent entries will appear at the top of the list.

Yesterday in Chicago, US veterans marched in protest against the Trump administration. It was nice to hear people interviewed who said they don't want to violate the oath they took to the Constitution to follow Trump's illegal bidding.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/chicago/2025/11/11/veterans-day-rally-chicago-ice?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=11122025%20Morning%20Edition&utm_content=11122025%20Morning%20Edition+CID_7e4ff593cdee76d0f0e724c591435c23&utm_source=cst_campaign_monitor&utm_term=At%20Veterans%20Day%20rally%20vets%20blast%20Trump%20on%20immigration%20VA%20service%20cuts&tpcc=cst_cm

More good news from Chicago, is that Greg Bovino said that ICE is packing up and taking 3/5 of their agents with them. While an article implied it was because of the cold, I think it is because Mayor Johnson on a video call with the UNs Human Rights Commission asked them to find Trump in violation of human rights, and invited them to Chicago to see ICE in action. No more ICE no video ops for the UN. Also, because of pesky judge who held Greg Bovino's feet to the fire.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/public-safety/2025/11/11/u-s-border-patrol-boss-greg-bovino-fellow-agents-expected-to-soon-leave-chicago

Many trump supporters are living in a house of cards, complacent due to their own comfortable lives, and easily swayed by false narratives that validate their own hate. Jeff nails it. On Veterans Day, we hear the rhetoric. But the real action, budget cuts, canceled benefits, and veterans left in limbo, speaks louder.

In my latest essay, I trace how the pundit class spent years arguing whether Donald Trump’s style qualified as conservatism, while the real story was power rewritten. Now we live that rewriting.

The only level on which it isn't honest was the wildly slanted media coverage. The process itself, sadly, was fair and honest. You cannot game an election at the voting level, and we need to let go of this conspiracy theory because then we fuel the GOP's "it was rigged" narrative which, sadly, we created back in 2004. And no, 2004 wasn't rigged in Ohio to put George Bush back in the White House. The voting was fair, although the handling of how people got to vote wasn't.

Haha, we had a taxi driver like that in Italy, but she was about 90 years old and could barely see over the steering wheel!

I was hanging on for dear life. If you've ever been in Rome and know what the traffic if like (it can best be described as "a free-for-all"), you'd know how terrifying it was, ha ha!

Yes! When I was in Rome, I had to remember to look carefully both ways before I crossed the street, because I was afraid I would get run over! Crazy drivers!

I'm jealous! I've been practicing my Spanish every day for 8 months, and really want to move to spain. I spoke fluent Spanish as a kid, because my dad was a Spanish teacher, but, once you quit speaking it everyday, you forget most of it...

Megan, I have been too! And you are so right ... you have to practice every day. I'ver been using the 10 minute Spanish app and Babel. I've memorized a few phrases that help me along (via Google Translate) especially: Estoy aprendiendo espanol. I am learning Spanish. They nod their head and seem to appreciate that I'm trying!

Let rent an apartment in Santander together. I'm going there to check it out. I adore Spain. A non lucrative Visa for one year should tell me if it could be my forever home. The vibe, the people, the history, the art...not to mention the food. I'm in love. 😍

I thought the same thing when we’re in Spain. But alas, we got on our flight and returned to this hell scape.

Susan, do you know that the rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain? Have a wonderful time while you are there, and remember to carry an umbrella! 😆

Oh my gosh, thank you for the happy tears! Seeing and hearing President Obama thanking our veterans - what a joyful start to the day!

It is not fair to compare Trump and Obama. Obama still has two brain cells to rub together, more than two actually and Trump, Trump is as you describe him, a walking, talking asshole.

But 77M ppl voted for a guy who called our troops ‘SUCKERS & LOSERS’… or do they say that quote was a hoax, too

These are more of the dividends of Murc's Law...even people who are retired Presidents like Obama act (and are responsible to) as actual human beings. And of course, those of us who protested Iraq War 2.0 always remember what "Support the Troops" really means. It just means that they're the shield these fascists hide behind when they wanna crack some skulls of people who oppose their resource-grabbing wars.

And it's not even limited to the politicians; trash organizations like the NFL do this same thing and it makes me sick given how little the NFL cares about the safety of its players. Just to help shield them from some criticism by wrapping themselves in the flag.

The Republicans have hated our veterans since there have been men like Eisenhower, Miley, McCain and other high profile military personnel have spoken out against their anti-American policies.

Eisenhower was the last honest Republican president. It's been liars, criminals, and war mongers ever since.

I've written that for many months: Dwight David Eisenhower was the last Republican worthy of the Oval Office. And he will likely forever be the last.

Mmmm... John McCain was a vet, a POW, a Republican senator, and saved Obamacare during a vote in the Senate. Want to edit your comment about Republican honesty and support for vets?

No, I do not want to rewrite my comment. Perhaps you need to reread my comment. McCain was never president.
