today in Shit That Happened While I Was Busy Writing This Shit—
CNN's gotten their grubby mitts on a draft of that secret peace thingie with Iran, and lo and behold, it doesn't say shit about Iran forking over its uranium
We will never leave the Straits of Schrödinger. All because he was upset a Black man made a competent deal. Anything Black people created or achieved, must be destroyed, must be hidden...the bigots who voted for him wish for that.
I'm thinking about all the people who were invited but didn't show up for the stupid UFC cage match on the orange menace's birthday. Tomorrow is the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Library. Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Bono and The Edge from U2, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, Common, Marc Anthony, are all appearing. The trump presidential library will be gold and tacky and cold and probably almost always empty. Obama has created a real community center with the library. A Chicago Public Library branch, a museum, a playground, and I heard a basketball court. It will be a giant draw.
Wow Iʻm flying through Chicago this weekend, wish I could stop in to see the library. There is a section about his Hawaiian youth that I want to see in particular. ʻO Barak no ka oi! (Barak is the best!)
NO NO NO! Just FALSE! No, the Obama Presidential Center campus—including the Chicago Public Library branch, playgrounds, gardens, and athletic facilities—is free and open to everyone with no ticket required. An admission fee is only charged for the four-floor Museum, and the Obama Foundation offers free and discounted Museum admission to low-income visitors and service members.
Vermont has a program assisting low income parents with reduced fee passes (like $3/each) to visit museums with their children- it’s wonderful!! The ECHO Center (which involved Sen Patrick Leahy) in Burlington, VT is an excellent & FUN learning experience.
I’m glad to hear the Obama Presidential Center is doing something similar. 💕
Just the museum has an admission fee; have to pay for the upkeep and operations costs. It only costs a nickel more than Reagan's library and a penny more than Nixon's.
But it's free for Illinois residents on Tuesdays, discounted for Illinois residents always, and free for low-income folks.
The library branch is free; it's Chicago Public Library, which we didn't have a branch of down this way (I live a couple of blocks from the center; the Blackstone branch is more toward Kenwood than Woodlawn). There's a forum where there will be events, and the community can book space. The basketball court and fitness center is free to the public. And there's a community garden on the roof of the Forum.
There *are* some feelings in the community about why he chose Jackson Park rather than Harold Washington Park several blocks west, which really could have used the development. But Obama wanted to have the center near the lake.
Slightly off topic, I visited the Reagan Library in Thousand Oaks CA. I couldnʻt find a book there at all (except in the gift shop) but it was actually quite an interesting place to visit. I always thought of Nancy Reagan as being short but her gowns were in there and she was a tall lady.
The Obama Center library/museum is run by the National Archives, which eventually took over Nixon’s Library. Before they did, there was no mention of his smearing Helen Gahagan Douglas as a communist or Watergate or his speech after losing the California governor’s race to Pat Brown.
Yes and no. NARA has custody of the presidential papers and materials - the PRA was something necessitated by Nixon - but researchers can access them by appointment. The presidential library foundations are the ones who largely direct the content of the displays, but that typically evolves over time as best practices evolve. The Nixon library most likely waited until he was gone to show the fullest picture of him, which happened to coincide with a more modern, less hagiographic trend in museum curation as well as more involvement by NARA.
The Obama Center is the first fully online presidential library, where the papers and records are all scanned and there's no onsite research facility, just a museum. The choice of an online library is pretty controversial.
I can understand a small admission fee, and thanks to DumbDumbDon trashing the economy, I'd advocate for some kind of discount for those on a budget, like described above. When the Kennedy Library opened, people were so fond of the former President, they wanted something, anything of his, so they were stealing electrical outlet covers in the floor. I actually thought it kinda tacky/low class, but the behavior speaks to how much the public did love JFK.
I actually hope that thanks to grift/greed/avarice that Donnie's Library is never built. Plans for it, excuses for it being delayed, but remains a hole in the ground for all eternity.
Just a mention that the poor neighborhood it in is also right by the University of Chicago, where the Obamas used to live, and has million dollar homes. Like many urban areas, the very wealthy areas can be literally down the block from very poor areas.
You have a good point. It is in a poor neighborhood and there is an admission fee. Free admission on Tuesdays.
If I were running things I'd scale the admission fee to zip code with a cap at what the current charge is.
I do think it will be a boon to the area but unfortunately has also drawn real estate investors who bought properties on speculation that property values would increase.
Jackson Park doesn’t even rank on a list of the 12 poorest neighborhoods in the city, although it is close to South Shore, which is among those. It’s also close to Hyde Park, which is solid middle class.
I can take it or leave it, I figure this might be an echo of the kind of style of the MLK Jr. memorial. That's a kind of motif in design nowadays. I happen to be a Brutalist aficionado so that kind of element I suppose personally appeals to me.
I lived in dc from Nixon to Clinton. Carter was the real deal. I wish he had more competent/savvy people around him but it was his Georgia crew and they didn’t know how to deal Congress. That and Reagan making back channel deals w Iran.
Yep, he made the war happen, by coaching bibi the butcher what to say to get trump in his war. Fucking rapture-mad bastards should never be allowed in politics.
We are still calling people Black who have any Black ancestors. Obama had a white mother and African father. He was raised largely by white grandparents. We could as logically call him white as Black. My point is that we are still obsessed with categorizing people based on pigmentation. Do we label someone having one Irish great-grandparent and seven non-Irish great-grandparents an Irish person?
His father was a Black man. An immigrant, yes but that doesn't mean he's not Black. And that matters because the racists aren't doing blood quantum on, say, Elon Musk. The reason why we categorize people by pigmentation in this shithole country is it was designed that way in the first place. It is why we have a Senate, so that those who owned darker-skinned people and forced them to toil will have an outsized voice and power.
If this shithole country actually lived up to the ideals it professes to have, Barack Obama would be just another guy. But he's not because of his skin. Only HE, as a President, had to have his citizenship, his even belonging questioned. The very fact that he didn't have the presumption of belonging is QED that he is considered Black.
Lastly, as Irish is an ethnicity (not a race), it seriously depends on the person and that's not even equivalent if you're talking about great-grandparents and seven non-Irish great-grandparents. Obama's father is a Black man.
And yes people with immigrant ancestors in the USA can and DO refer to themselves as members of that ethnicity, not even adding the "-American" suffix. Many people refer to Joe Biden as Irish. Many third/fourth generation Polish people here in my city refer to themselves as Polish. It is a highly individual choice here.
I am not disagreeing with Seth’s criticism of our country’s founding. But from the point of view of biology, there is just the human race. There is as much variation between members of the same “race” as there is between different “races.” For example, blood types.
It’s true that ethnic populations can have features typical of their group and different from others. Long upper lips typical in people of Celtic descent, so I read somewhere. Obama’s father had characteristics of people in his part of Africa.
Yes, generations later some people identify as Polish, etc. Obama can identify any way he wants. My grandchildren are Japanese-European. They can identify as whatever they want.
I need to really say here, ethnicity is not race. Those are completely different things. There is a very, very important difference and I have to say that it is the race that matters. It matters for immigrants too. In my city an immigrant was brutalized by police and immigration officials because the whole saga started with a call that “A Black man was breaking into my house.” That changed the entire situation.
Second yes, biologically we are all one race. I know this, living in the body I do. But the body I live in MATTERS in the USA.
Awareness of race has certainly not faded in our current culture, that’s for sure. Maybe there would be less race consciousness if more people knew that race isn’t a scientific concept. That’s naive hope that I have.
I agree Carol.(tho Some people of wayyyy back Irish ancestry do say their Irish American). Anyway your point is valid, but WHY Is Every WHITE American -American? And Everyone else is African American/ Asian American etc?? I Really Don’t understand. Why is EVERYONE Regardless of color just not AMERICAN?
Well, that's exactly the point. Obama made negotiated an excellent treaty under the circumstances and Donny could not stand that. No one can make a deal better that he can and especially a black man can't. Netanyahu knows he can manipulate stupid Trump by stroking his ego. Telling him he should attack Iran because Obama made such a bad deal and you could do so much better.
I got it this morning which would have been in the middle of the night from an American lawyer friend here in Germany. Al Arabiya English obtains 14-point draft of US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding https://share.google/87dkkqTqQ6cTypc5o
It worries me for Ukraine, that Iran will now be able to help Russia in ways they were not able to before. The US is just F--ked in this deal! The deal that Obama, Russia, China, Germany, Japan, the UK signed onto before which was actually a deal, not just a roll over and capitulate to Iran. Bibi is furious is what everyone is reporting. In fact, Malcolm Nance says that in the past 3 weeks Trump has dropped 46 points in popularity in Israel, with 23 of them happening this week.
Point 1 of the Memorandum of Misunderstanding is that fighting will cease on all fronts, including Lebanon. This will not happen without Israel's agreement, and Israel was not even consulted. If Iranians wanted a ceasefire with Israel, they needed to talk to Israelis, but they refuse to do that. If Trump thinks he can speak for Israel, he is about to find out otherwise, and even Israelis who think Netanyahu should have been thrown into prison long ago are going to feel the need to assert sovereignty.
According to Dean Blundell, a former Israeli spy is claiming that Bibi is going to throw Donald Trump under the bus by revealing his copies of the Epstein Files. It is also unclear whether this is credible.
So, we shall see what happens. Malcolm Nance said yesterday that in the past 3 weeks, Trump approval has dived by 46 points in the past 3 weeks, with 23 of them being this past week. I was surprised that he was held in such high regard. Makes Israelis seem way too insular in their country. They need to get out more.
We see Trump has thrown Bibi under the bus. So the question remaind whether Bibi will throw Trump under the bus. Another question is whether Trump will throw Putin under the bus. I am certainly hoping for this. It does not seem likely. Putin seems to wield his Kompromat more effectively.
Im wondering how much input does Trump really have? I imagine things are written and deals are made by others, and Trump is told to sign here. For all we know, they maybe telling him it's the greatest deal. The guy is not all there.
Trump has input in what he says to the public. Also, on the bus on the way home last night on the news they were saying Trump was threatening to bomb Iran again. That made me think that since the Iranian 14 point plan was released by Al Arabiya in English yesterday or the night before, since I got it in the morning German time, it had finally reached Trump and he recognized that it does not match what he has been saying. https://english.alarabiya.net/News/middle-east/2026/06/16/al-arabiya-obtains-14point-draft-usiran-deal
The people of any country in which orange turd doesn’t have an approval rating of 0 are largely morons. That goes for the US; this also gives belies the stereotype of Jews being smart. (Did I use that word correctly?)
Richard, sterotype schmeriotype. Jews being in Israel does give them tunnel vision, although the Israelis I know are not pro Netanyahu. They also happen to be to the left of center and are very active in social justice causes. It is not smart to support Trump, even the Super wealthy will regret it once they succeed in helping him destroy the US, and as he reaches his hands out to try to destroy Europe with US Big Data gathering Tech. The stealing of data is one of the biggest dangers the US and China pose to the world. You should read what Trump is doing in Africa.
And even bigger plans were released in French and here it is in German, but you can switch the English on for this article when you open it, I think it gives you the option. https://monde-diplomatique.de/artikel/!6177331
It's heading is, "The new state capitalism
AI-driven capitalism is entering a new stage. The Trump administration is pumping gigantic sums of money into strategic projects to win global competition against China. Investment flows are no longer regulated by the market, but by the state – with the Pentagon as its central hub."
Since Russia isn’t in any financial shape to keep buying Shaheds, I’m guessing Iran will slowly turn toward other countries that can afford to buy its weapons.
He bombed the shit out of Iranian school girls because Bibi threatened to release his copy of the Epstein Files. You just know that Epstein sold a copy to the the Israelis.
Alisa Valdez-Rodriguez (7th?) generation New Mexican, with a Cuban father, is an investigative journalist who has done some deep digging into what has gone on at the Zorro ranch. If you google "The Pugilist" (her sub stack) you will find multiple columns on the subject. The information is chilling. She has recently gone into hiding because of death threats. Please let me know if you have trouble finding it. Best regards.
Interesting article and informative. However, it is not entirely unbiased. She believes that Israel's retaliation against Hamas, for the attempted annihilation of the Jews on Oct. 7, was genocide. I strongly disagree with her stance. I believe that Hamas purposely put Gazans in harms way and then screamed genocide. Also, Hamas has starved Gazans and now brutally murders them. This has not been reported in media outlets.
I couldn't agree with you more. There is no doubt that Hamas is an extremely evil player on BOTH sides: Israel AND Palestine. I also believe that some of the very top people in the Israeli government DO want to wipe out the Palestinian people. (I WISH I could find quotes from 7 of the top officials who came to NYC for the Israeli Freedom parade not long ago. Each favored genocide in strong language. Frankly, I was shocked.) The whole thing is horrible. If people could just come to know one another, and realize how very much they have in common, and become friends...
I just googled your books, and the ones for children and parents are brilliant! I also read the summary of "The Birds Sang Eulogies" and it broke my heart.
Watch the machinery; it is the same goddamn grift every time. The would-be strongman with the matchbook starts a war in February, calls killing the supreme leader regime change, then watches the son take the same throne — and now, deal in hand, insists I never cared about regime change. The sheer ratfuckery of it. The MOU commits Iran to never building a bomb but punts the actual nuclear specifics — the enriched-uranium stockpile, the verification — into 60 more days. Markets bumped on cheaper oil through a reopened Strait of Hormuz, 20 percent of the world's crude, and the bet from this carnival-barker-in-chief is plain as piss: voters care about the pump, not the fine print on uranium. He is probably right. That is the bleakest part.
Our best chance at keeping Iran from getting a nuclear weapon was Obama's deal. As long as the U.S. wasn't at imminent threat to their security, they might have been willing to forgo acquiring one. Now that Trump has made it clear that the U.S. feels it has the right to murder Iranian citizens and inflict mass property damage simply because our President feels like it, Iran is almost certain to continue development. For them a nuclear weapon represents protection from enemies that have proven to be violent and untrustworthy.
Look at it this way, the Middle East has been looking at a nuclear threat from Israel for decades. I suppose they felt justified in developing a nuclear capability especially when they saw how we got talked our allies into our war with Iraq.
I disagree. Israel has been surrounded by enemies who were out to annihilate every Jew in the country. You can put Iran at the top of the list. Their nuclear capability, if they have one, is strictly a deterrent.
There are limitations on the U.S. military. Has Kegsbreath seen this?
From point 4: "The United States also undertakes to withdraw its forces from the surrounding areas within 30 days after the final agreement." What constitutes "surrounding areas?"
From point 9: "Iran will maintain the status quo on its nuclear program, and the United States will not impose new sanctions on Iran or strengthen its forces in the region."
Good one Mark! A twofer. Who would have known what happens when water lay stagnant? That’s a difficult scienceie thing that needs to be figured out by someone who knows that a b comes after m in dumb…oh…never mind.
I know, right Sunny? Aren’t they all so cute? Can we gather them all up and put them in a playpen. We won’t even have to buy one (which is good because it would have to be quite large). Ya, we’ll just borrow one of those ICE playpens. They can play dungeons and dragons and own everything they like. And the ICE agents can face outward with their boom sticks to protect them from all those deadly nasty liberals who could infect them with some sanity and oh, wouldn’t that be horrific?
The joy and happiness surrounding the opening of the beautiful Obama Presidential Center might just cause the orange pumpkin head to explode 🤯 or implode. Either will work
The big Opening Ceremony is actually tomorrow, June 18 - they're setting up the remote viewing area for the concert/ceremony out on the Midway and they've created some havoc with street closures around that area. My bus to work is completely borked, so I'm working from home the rest of this week.
There's going to be a sort of street festival at the Center for the opening from Juneteenth to Sunday. I'll probably drop by on Sunday, once the crowds have thinned out a bit.
You’re so lucky you live there! I live in Texas, but I have a granddaughter who goes to DePaul University. I’m planning a trip to Chicago to see her and the Center later this year. Can’t wait!!
I was in Qatar on a 20-minute layover about a hundred years ago and I was not even tempted to walk to Iran. Likewise I was in California and had no desire to walk to Santa Catalina Island. Just lazy I guess.
Nope, he probably paid someone to take the class… as I always maintain…. That boy ain’t got no class, he never attended classes.. he knows everything cause some uncle was a professor at MIT…. allegedly..
If You turn the Gulf water into wine, Hegseth, Patel, Pirro, and all the other souses in this regime of drunkards (let's not forget racist Hokit) will be eager to go for a dip and sip
If Bibi tried to get Obama to bomb Iran, than he tried to get Trump to bomb Iran during his first term. But there were still grown ups around to say no. What we have is not just a failure on Trump's part. It's a failure of the entire administration AND our military leaders. All of them need to be banished from holding power forever.
He can only fail, the question is just how. And he's not installed as President to help America...he's here to remake America in the image of the 77 million + bigots; a place where minorities are oppressed, tortured and removed.
So it follows that when he goes onto the world stage he projects the WORST of America. Protected by Murc's Law, and the deference other nations feel so that they don't get invaded, he's free to be a legendarily awful and embarrassing person. And he'll be free to loot the treasury as he omnishambles all over the world, leaving skin and bronzer residue everywhere he goes.
He's here, the very most of all, to stay out of jail and to make tens of billions of dollars off of taxpayers. The ones who support him are the KKK types who want minorities to be oppressed, tortured and removed. He goes along with it because he doesn't give a damn, so long as his two goals are met. A big-time racist, indeed, but that's his 3rd priority.
This is true… but the ‘brash / innovative US’ should be leading change… (geez Germany had Merkel for what - 16 YEARS???)
Not even talking abt the top spot, necessarily… Just can’t get over German men voting for a woman who was organized & knew her shit… yeah but the Marlboro Man something something jfc :/ 😒🙄
I just keep coming back to “The Mouse that Roared.” Only, this time the lion started it all. Toothless Lion.
As for Israel keeping the war going. There’s a very simple solution. The US stops sending them aid in ANY form. Most importantly, they get not a single penny more from us. Period.
exactly. The US throwing money at them is insane. I'm Canadian 76 years old, and have never paid for medical care in my life. An American friend says her husband has been cutting his insulin in half. She told me that's not uncommon now. Yet, Bibi is getting the money that should be helping Americans. it's crazy
I'm afraid it's too simple and too obvious that it's the way to do it. They want it all to be complicated. That way they can fool themselves into thinking we don't understand what's actually happening.
Good luck with a congress bought and paid for by AIPAC. This is one reason no other regime in the US was dumb (with a b) enough to fall for Netanyahu's BS. My partner said the day he heard about the Iran bombing that Netanyahu will never let him leave. What would it take for Trump to get the congress to stop intelligence aid and arms shipments, or at least put strict conditions, on Israel's unlimited benefits from the American taxpayers? Bernie Sanders has been trying again and again- no dice with this congress. And he, like I, am Jewish, so they can't call anti-semitism.
You think AIPAC spends more than Qatar on influencing politicians and university profs? Take some time to look at the amount of money Qatar shovels into the US to buy influence and have decisions go their way.
Too many Dems get money from AIPAC. Many also believe that Israel is exempt from observing human rights because of longstanding religious persecution and the holocaust. I am terribly sorry that happened/happens, but that is not an excuse to occupy other countries and try to kill as many people as possible and destroy all their property indiscriminately. Just like all of us do not approve of our regime, i know Israelis do not all approve of theirs. 👹
Too many Dems get money from Qatar. Too many universities get money from Qatar. There is more money coming from Qatar than AIPAC. Why are people always bringing up AIPAC as if other lobbies don't push their agendas?
Of course they do. As far as I know, Qatar is not waging war on its neighbors with weapons provided by the US, destroying civilians and their property indiscriminately. 👹
Perhaps you can send a special delivery letter to Hezbollah to stop bombing Israel on a daily basis. They've lobbed over 1900 bombs into Israel since 2024.
Personally, I loved how Macron finally had enough of Grandpa banging on about his very special boy UFC fight night and told him, 'This isn't the octagon, Donald.' Delivered with a very French smile and a knife between the ribs Donnie won't notice for days.
As always, I'm really just here for another dose of The Daily Claudia. What a beautiful life you two had, Jeff. 🥰
Trump's vocabulary is getting noticeably smaller. He didn't have much before but now the only words he has are "strong" and "hard". He doesn't even use them properly in context, but they are the only descriptors he remembers. His brain is truly gone. I pray that his body will soon follow.
Weeellllllll, considering his repressed proclivities (see his choice of birthday entertainment--men wearing nothing but tight satin panties), I'm not surprised these are the only words he can remember.......Calling Dr. Freud!
Trump is a horrifying embarrassment, and thank you for the excellent summary of just how disgustingly incompetent he is, as always. But I’m here to say that the Daily Claudia photos are especially lovely.
So, the $300 BILLION isn't coming from US (supposedly) it's from a consortium of "Gulf States" but the story is that we will still be "underwriting and/or guaranteeing" this fund. WTF WTF WTF
DonOld has just cost the Gulf States or US $300 billion for his war of choice. We are still on the hook for the weapons replacement and infrastructure destruction in the Gulf though so it will still be costing US tens of billions on the back end. Thanks MAGA, you dumbfucks.
I still stand by what I previously said, Netanyahu has Trump by The Epsteins and this won't be so easy.
It's a great reminder that as long as they get tax cut extensions, write off their private jets, and hoard their assets offshore, billionaires will continue to spend a tiny percentage of their extracted wealth on electing corrupt, incompetent, pedo-sociopaths.
In fact, my latest, "The Architecture of Pie" attempts to explain it and it is piping hot and right out of the oven.
I said it at the time and still believe that 100 years from now when historians look back at the downfall of the American Empire they are going to point to the Reagan administration. Deregulation destroyed the middle class in this country and accelerated the wealth gap. The upper class convinced the middle class that the bottom class was the problem and all too many bought into the fallacy. Don't mind the man behind the curtain.
Thank you David -and fully agree. Just as the democracy-destroying “Project 2025” is a blueprint for the abuse of power now, the Lewis Powell memo of August 1971, became the framework for Reagan to begin the democracy wrecking ball slamming against our institutions and paving the way for now.
And turned corporations into people, and destroyed the value of the media by destroying the Fairness Doctrine. He was only elected because he was viewed by far too many as a movie star (B-rated), just like the maggots elected trump because they liked his TV show.

That’s why Trump is so mad. He knows he sucks. He’s dumpy, stupid, and has a wife who hates him. His kids cower before him.
Obama is intelligent, handsome, has a wife who loves and respects him, and beautiful, intelligent daughters. He’s also very cool.
He is very cool and has a wonderful presence, relaxed and engaging.
And he can sing!
Man, I wish I could be there!! So many worthwhile Americans in one place, and with serious talent! Chicagoans are the lucky ones tomorrow!
Wow Iʻm flying through Chicago this weekend, wish I could stop in to see the library. There is a section about his Hawaiian youth that I want to see in particular. ʻO Barak no ka oi! (Barak is the best!)

Not for most of it, and Jackson Park isn’t what I’d call poor. A working-class neighborhood next to middle class Hyde Park.
I thought the grand opening was on Juneteenth (June 19)?
It opens to the general public on Juneteenth but the ribbon cutting is tomorrow. At least, that's what I heard on the radio this morning.
Yes, there’s a big ceremony today, invitation only.
On the other hand, Obama‘s Library building looks weird and brutalist to my eye. I don’t get what he and his architects were thinking on this one.
I can take it or leave it, I figure this might be an echo of the kind of style of the MLK Jr. memorial. That's a kind of motif in design nowadays. I happen to be a Brutalist aficionado so that kind of element I suppose personally appeals to me.
I think it’s very forward-looking and distinctive myself
Yeah, I was surprised by how brutalist it is. Then again, you only see it driving up to it and not when inside.
Obama was such a great President. I miss him (and Michelle) every day. In my lifetime, only Jimmy Carter could match him in intelligence and ethics.
Tired of the bad press he got as well
I lived in dc from Nixon to Clinton. Carter was the real deal. I wish he had more competent/savvy people around him but it was his Georgia crew and they didn’t know how to deal Congress. That and Reagan making back channel deals w Iran.
Reagan, courtesy of Papa Bush, are the ones who destroyed Carter via Iran deal. Unforgivable.
I miss Obama as well.
With ya that kd, every day.
And Graham going on about how the Strait will be re-opened like it was closed before DonOld took a blow torch to the Middle East. JFC
Lindsey Graham has a lot of innocent people's blood on his hands. He'd do well to sit down and shut up.
Yep, he made the war happen, by coaching bibi the butcher what to say to get trump in his war. Fucking rapture-mad bastards should never be allowed in politics.
Glad I'm not in SC any longer (as of 4 weeks ago). It made me sick to see the continuing popularity of that pompous POS.
Gaslights his voters ‘just fine’ apparently…
Oh and that smart (overqualified) lady had an annoying laugh too
In wingnuttia that translates to "a genuine laugh", because those are not allowed in their patriarchal world of madness.
Yup… laughing used to be trendy :/
"in this shithole country" That's the first time I've heard that. Warranted.
⬆️🎯🎯🎯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It really is completely disgusting. Obama I miss you!!!
Sad truth Seth.
All those DonnyKult members can go suck eggs.
Not only did the U.S. get fvcked in the deal, we had to bring our own case of Vaseline.
LOL!
LOL!!!!! NOW we know why the Barbarian was "popular" in Israel!!!
!/2 of the Israeli population can't understand how Americans could have voted for such a moron. The other 1/2 is just like the magas.
Sigh...
Anyone with 1/2 a brain would have known that tRump would throw Bibi under the bus. It was just a matter of time.
According to Dean Blundell, a former Israeli spy is claiming that Bibi is going to throw Donald Trump under the bus by revealing his copies of the Epstein Files. It is also unclear whether this is credible.
https://deanblundell.substack.com/p/former-israeli-spy-netanyahu-is-holding
I hope you're right about the Trumpstein files.
You should read what Trump is doing in Africa.
https://www.propublica.org/article/trump-state-department-africa-uganda-aid-medical-data-privacy
Epstein and Ghislaine's father and her two sisters all worked directly with and for the Israeli government. They were all spies.
SWiles worked for bibi’s campaign… now she’s COS to POTUS…GEEZUS!!!
Why does that factoid get glossed over?
I'd never heard that!
https://www.ibtimes.co.uk/trump-chief-staff-netanyahu-ties-1793141
Will read when I have a chance. The UK press is one of the only whose reporting I trust. That and Al Jazeera. Am also partial to the Boston Globe.
Exactly kd, Epstein was involved in arms trades, working with Russia, US, and anyone else he could make a deal with.
And boy! Did he have the goods on some of the most powerful men in the world.
Please site your source for what you wrote.
Please site this so we know it is a fact.
I wish, but we know Epstein was a blackmailer and sold to anyone willing to pay. I’m sure that is what Vlad has on him.
(cite) Were you able to find "The Pugilist"?
Yes, thank you. I did reply.
The secret thingy that gives Iran 300 Billion.
meh.
https://thistleandmoss.com/p/what-survives-the-morning-the-frozen-law-the-firefly-hour-and-trump-shitting-his-pants-as-usual
But none of this shocks any of you right?
I wonder what percentage of the $300 Billion Rump will take as a “finder’s fee”
The Nobel Peace Prize, of course!
12%?
Not one bit.
You’re free to disagree.
Wouldn't you?
To quote the brilliant Gomer Pyle, “Surprise, surprise, surprise!” 🤓🖖🏻
💯
There are limitations on the U.S. military. Has Kegsbreath seen this?
From point 4: "The United States also undertakes to withdraw its forces from the surrounding areas within 30 days after the final agreement." What constitutes "surrounding areas?"
From point 9: "Iran will maintain the status quo on its nuclear program, and the United States will not impose new sanctions on Iran or strengthen its forces in the region."
Trump was thinking they’d be forking over their titanium, so he dropped it. 🙄
That's the best picture yet, the two of you. Perfect couple picture!
He lied his way into a box
I love that you dined with two beautiful women in Ossining. 🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸
See, we can't believe ANYTHING he says....
😬
Imagine!
Losing a war against Iran and Algae in the same week.
That's gotta sting.
Make Algae Great Again " Hahaha I'm dying here!
Good one Mark! A twofer. Who would have known what happens when water lay stagnant? That’s a difficult scienceie thing that needs to be figured out by someone who knows that a b comes after m in dumb…oh…never mind.
B-but that weird MObama comment OWNED THE LIBS‼️‼️‼️
I know, right Sunny? Aren’t they all so cute? Can we gather them all up and put them in a playpen. We won’t even have to buy one (which is good because it would have to be quite large). Ya, we’ll just borrow one of those ICE playpens. They can play dungeons and dragons and own everything they like. And the ICE agents can face outward with their boom sticks to protect them from all those deadly nasty liberals who could infect them with some sanity and oh, wouldn’t that be horrific?
Now he needs to permanently lose the 1.8Bn slush fund and the protection for him and his family and businesses from ever being audited by the IRS.
Sting indeed it must. :)
He probably personally pocketed an extra billion off of the loss to algae too.
Haha Brilliant Mark!
What’s not to like?
Touche'.
🤣
The Obama Presidential Center opens this week on June 19th (Juneteenth, btw). I’m sure that’s pissing off the country’s biggest bigot. 😁
The entertainment lineup is absolutely top class. Vanilla Ice was apparently unavailable.
The joy and happiness surrounding the opening of the beautiful Obama Presidential Center might just cause the orange pumpkin head to explode 🤯 or implode. Either will work
I’m more than ready for that to happen.
In spite of the mess you’re still lucky enough to be able to go. We’ll need a report, ya know.
You’re so lucky you live there! I live in Texas, but I have a granddaughter who goes to DePaul University. I’m planning a trip to Chicago to see her and the Center later this year. Can’t wait!!
Well, guess I’ll have to wait to visit until next year. I just heard tickets are sold out through November!
Yeah, I'd wait until next summer! That way, you can take in the Japanese garden nearby and the Lakefront Trail.
I didn’t realize it was opening on the Holiday that was June 19th- hell we still honor the 19th in this house - and MLK too!
Haha, he's not only thinking he's Jesus, he's Moses, too, parting the Persian Gulf so the Qataris can walk across. A payback for an outdated 747
Let's see him part the waters in the reflecting pool, then follow it up turning the algae back into water...
And…make all that tacky gold disappear ‼️
It really worries me that he has seen Versailles. We may be in for another shit storm of fake gold.
I was in Qatar on a 20-minute layover about a hundred years ago and I was not even tempted to walk to Iran. Likewise I was in California and had no desire to walk to Santa Catalina Island. Just lazy I guess.
Forgot your floatie shoes
Floatie Florsheims
Gotta make sure they fit properly
🤣🤣🤣
He was sick the day they taught geography at UPenn. Ivy league libelz!
Nope, he probably paid someone to take the class… as I always maintain…. That boy ain’t got no class, he never attended classes.. he knows everything cause some uncle was a professor at MIT…. allegedly..
Probably asleep in class.
Or asphyxiated from his own methane-bleeding stench
It was either that or the guy he paid to be in class for him forgot to tell him that little bit of info.
Maybe…..🤔
Jesus doesn’t need to part the gulf. He can just walk on water to get there.
Moses has to part water for lessers
I'll just strap on my Jesus sandals and go for a stroll across the Persian Gulf. Be back in a couple minutes.
If You turn the Gulf water into wine, Hegseth, Patel, Pirro, and all the other souses in this regime of drunkards (let's not forget racist Hokit) will be eager to go for a dip and sip
Give that crew a week, then, and it'll be dry land.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hadn’t thought of that angle Doc…
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
If Bibi tried to get Obama to bomb Iran, than he tried to get Trump to bomb Iran during his first term. But there were still grown ups around to say no. What we have is not just a failure on Trump's part. It's a failure of the entire administration AND our military leaders. All of them need to be banished from holding power forever.
That was the lesson he learned from his first term. That's why he's now surrounded himself with bootlickers and sycophants.
You would think ONE of them would have some sense of self-preservation.
He's also following Putin's orders.
But we made sure Martha Stewart ‘went’ to jail, didn’t we… what a load of bs
MaryTump told us… but routinely ignoring women is a US thing ‘I guess’
Almost the same in every culture.
I created a two-column template:

I just keep coming back to “The Mouse that Roared.” Only, this time the lion started it all. Toothless Lion.
As for Israel keeping the war going. There’s a very simple solution. The US stops sending them aid in ANY form. Most importantly, they get not a single penny more from us. Period.
But .... without the US aid how would they afford the free healthcare and education they provide?
The same way as every other modernized country except the US, and plenty of less developed countries as well.
exactly. The US throwing money at them is insane. I'm Canadian 76 years old, and have never paid for medical care in my life. An American friend says her husband has been cutting his insulin in half. She told me that's not uncommon now. Yet, Bibi is getting the money that should be helping Americans. it's crazy
It's worse than crazy. It' cruel, inhuman, and just damn stupid. Netanyahu does not need our money. But WE DO.
Actually, Qatar funds terrorists. Hamas is one to be specific.
Bibi has the Epstein Files. Extortion leverage.
I believe that is the stick and oceanfront property is the carrot.
I agree that it is the ocean front property.
all the people who "have the epstein files" ; how about one of them putting their money where there mouth is...
But his flunkies know he and epstein were besties. Nothing sways them. I see no leverage. Just have to play to trump's ego.
It would be nice if he does but is it a fact?
Israel can actually take care of itself without US aid. People who think the US can simply dictate to them are mistaken.
Perhaps you can send a special delivery letter to Hezbollah to stop bombing Israel on a daily basis. They've lobbed over 1900 bombs into Israel since 2024.
Oof Congress would struggle w/that one!?
Personally, I loved how Macron finally had enough of Grandpa banging on about his very special boy UFC fight night and told him, 'This isn't the octagon, Donald.' Delivered with a very French smile and a knife between the ribs Donnie won't notice for days.
As always, I'm really just here for another dose of The Daily Claudia. What a beautiful life you two had, Jeff. 🥰
Unteachable. That's the story of his life and the reason why everything he touches turns into a cluster fuck.
A snoozing dumb fuckface named Drump
Is played by the world like a chump
"I'm the greatest!" he said
As he poops in his bed
And the rest of us think, WHADDA HUMP!"
Trump's vocabulary is getting noticeably smaller. He didn't have much before but now the only words he has are "strong" and "hard". He doesn't even use them properly in context, but they are the only descriptors he remembers. His brain is truly gone. I pray that his body will soon follow.
Two words that Melanomia never experiences:
• strong
• hard
I'm sure she is just fine with that. Ugh. That would be a tough assignment.
🤮🤮🤮
Weeellllllll, considering his repressed proclivities (see his choice of birthday entertainment--men wearing nothing but tight satin panties), I'm not surprised these are the only words he can remember.......Calling Dr. Freud!
Don’t forget cards and deal. Only words heknows are one syllable.
8647 before he destroys the world
Have the Gulf states actually agreed to any such thing?
Nobody has said anything. I'm sure Yahu won't agree to stop pillaging Lebanon either.
A corrupt pervert with proclivities so bent
The worst America has ever sent
To every world leader meeting
Shows our global stature is fleeting
An unmitigated national embarrassment
He embarrasses more than all embarrassers have ever embarrassed!
He embarrasses very strongly!
Embarrassment like you have never seen.
Thank you Jeff.
It's a great reminder that as long as they get tax cut extensions, write off their private jets, and hoard their assets offshore, billionaires will continue to spend a tiny percentage of their extracted wealth on electing corrupt, incompetent, pedo-sociopaths.
In fact, my latest, "The Architecture of Pie" attempts to explain it and it is piping hot and right out of the oven.
https://bomdia.substack.com/p/the-architecture-of-pie
Reagan, more than any other singular event, was the beginning of the end of what America could have, and should have, been.
There was a glimmer of hope before that, but it has been a straight march to fascism for most of the time since.
And turned corporations into people, and destroyed the value of the media by destroying the Fairness Doctrine. He was only elected because he was viewed by far too many as a movie star (B-rated), just like the maggots elected trump because they liked his TV show.
