Linda, I am starting my new indoor grow of micro greens. My spring buys of flowers will now include veggies & fruit.
Wish we could post photos--I use veggies as ornamentals in my front yard garden--spectacular! No one can believe that everything I grow is food. No turf grass in my yard....nothing eats that stuff.
I planted ground covers in both front and back yards. No mowing or maintenance, almost no storm water run-off, and very attractive.
Linda, oh YES, veggies are great in the yard! A neighbor had 6-8 tall planters. Loved watching them grow was fun.

Me too! But too much heat last 2 summers have been brutaI. I had to bring delicate herbs inside but they didn’t thrive. I want to grow tomatoes again. My husband and I can no longer do gardening due to physical issues. We have a yard crew every week for maintenance, thank goodness.

DCA's main rwy runs N-S, but yesterday's crash was on the short rwy at a 45-degree angle to the river. Combine that with nighttime flying, a super-busy airport with the busiest rwy, and a copter on a training flight, and it was a disaster waiting to happen.
NPR was saying that ATC asked the helicopter if it saw the plane, and the answer was yes. However, there were two planes in close proximity and the question may be whether the helicopter pilot and ATC were talking about the same plane. OK, now I'm going to stop speculating.
