I believe 'something' happened - his wife might have forced him out of their home when she found out - but he came back and my daughter - as she was growing up STILL had to see him leering at her every, single, time. She harboured this deep anger at her parents for 1) not doing 'something'; 2) not moving away - there were hints she thought they would have done so for their 'real' children (one each born before and after her adoption); 3) not being ME because in her fantasies 'I' would have done something major (killed the guy?) - probably. She's never understood despite actually knowing and even learning that NY prevents one from ever getting information about a given-up-for-adoption child (or parent). Only a very good friend of mine who decided to do this FOR me ages later using her legal skills and some chicanery, managed to connect us. Next thing I knew, I was handed a phone with a voice at the other end giving me ALL the information I needed to set up a meeting. You know the most intriguing/ironic part? She'd grown up not 20 minutes away from where I've lived the better part of my adult life. After she decided to have children (once we'd met and she saw I wasn't a 'whore or prostitute' - always watching for my reaction) and allowing me to get involved with them, she decided we were not to be grandparents or in any way even 'extras'. My 'punishment'? All kinds of other things happened as well - my older sister had lied to her, pretending she'd have 'taken her' if she'd known, a bald-faced lie. We've not been in touch now for a long time and it's ok. Her kids are grown up enough I could get in touch IF I could find them - to leave them something in my Will, which I so need to update. Her anger won't abate. She can't comprehend what happened to me and that's ok too. As long as she's happy. I found out that she was alive and reasonably 'well' which was all I truly wanted because my imagination had gone to some very dark places once those Nuns ripped her from my arms, shoving me out the door.
THAT reaction - by this 'college age' son, tells me his parents had had to deal with this before! So their 'go-to' was to automatically label YOU the liar, not him - just to protect their precious son. SO fucking infuriating! I wonder if he finally ended up in prison for serial rape?

She'd heard that Modeling Agencies would take photographs of girls who looked like her (5'10", thin, athletic) - and turn them into top models. THAT part was true for REAL modeling agencies, but Maxwell and Epstein took advantage of these LITTLE GIRLS' naivete, coercing them into attending parties at his Mansion along with the 'local girls' who were paid for each party they attended and 'dancing with and for' the rich old fuckers who were there. More money than each could possibly earn at a local store their tender ages. They all thought this was great - until they were all caught up in the spider-web of molestation and rape.

This'll be the first time I've EVER put this in writing. WHEN she told her own parents (adopted or not, they were her parents), they might've challenged him - a police officer of all things, he of course denied everything. I believe 'something' happened - his wife might have forced him out of their home when she found out - but he came back and my daughter - as she was growing up STILL had to see him leering at her every, single, time. She harboured this deep anger at her parents for 1) not doing 'something'; 2) not moving away - there were hints she thought they would have done so for their 'real' children (one each born before and after her adoption); 3) not being ME because in her fantasies 'I' would have done something major (killed the guy?) - probably. She's never understood despite actually knowing and even learning that NY prevents one from ever getting information about a given-up-for-adoption child (or parent). Only a very good friend of mine who decided to do this FOR me ages later using her legal skills and some chicanery, managed to connect us. Next thing I knew, I was handed a phone with a voice at the other end giving me ALL the information I needed to set up a meeting. You know the most intriguing/ironic part? She'd grown up not 20 minutes away from where I've lived the better part of my adult life. After she decided to have children (once we'd met and she saw I wasn't a 'whore or prostitute' - always watching for my reaction) and allowing me to get involved with them, she decided we were not to be grandparents or in any way even 'extras'. My 'punishment'? All kinds of other things happened as well - my older sister had lied to her, pretending she'd have 'taken her' if she'd known, a bald-faced lie. We've not been in touch now for a long time and it's ok. Her kids are grown up enough I could get in touch IF I could find them - to leave them something in my Will, which I so need to update. Her anger won't abate. She can't comprehend what happened to me and that's ok too. As long as she's happy. I found out that she was alive and reasonably 'well' which was all I truly wanted because my imagination had gone to some very dark places once those Nuns ripped her from my arms, shoving me out the door.
