I looked into moving her here, and she will not be in a health insurance program until she is here. I would get her travel insurance to cover her until I can do that, and I did look into dementia care. Also, the German government pays to alter one's home to accommodate someone who needs care. I would need some things for her to live in my house, although that is because the work on it is not done.

It was shocking to me that I spent my entire time in the US with Covid trying to get my inhaler filled, and gave up after 7 days and waited until I was back in Germany.
