As painful as it is to face the news without some something to ease the pain, that's probably fine with them: have we ever heard of a fascist/authoritarian regime where drinking is not a key part of the lifestyle? not much of a drinker. Up until last tuesday I mostly smoked pot for pain and anxiety, but not before 6 or 7. I’ve now taken to smoking almost all day,and not stuff that is mostly CBD or CBN. Thank you for continuing the daily tradition- finding humor right now is one of the few ways we might survive without having to go into mass exile. On PBS on November 7, he denied saying "no vaccine is safe and effective" in a July podcast. Shockingly, the PBS news person, Amna Nawaz called him out for lying- repeatedly he denied saying it and then claimed that it was "inaccurate" because the report came from PBS. I'm sure most MAGAs don't or are too stupid to google the facts themselves and make a decision. I could just strangle that scientist in England and Jenny McCarthy for their part in linking autism to vaccines. There is no link and the scientist later on admitted he filed false data. The damage they have done. But I have no patience with the morons that ever listen to Hollywood stars promoting medicines or treatments. Remember Suzanne Somers and her cures for menopause. I still remember the excruciating earache I had from the measles when I was four years old. Because the only vaccine available was the smallpox vaccine, I had every childhood disease except polio and missed a lot of school. These anti-vaxxers did not live during the polio epidemic, so they do not realize what a frightening time it was. If their children were dying, they would no longer be against vaccines, which save lives and keep us safe and healthy. And why do they think that smallpox has been wiped out (except for Afghanistan)?

Most states “require” rabies shots. Some people won’t do it. But many will because they are properly afraid of rabies. Just not measles or tetanus.

Vets, vet emergency rooms and doggy day care places will not see or take in your dog (and I believe cats) without official proof of all vaccinations. So that statement is true: your pets will have to be vaccinated but not you or your children. I’m not positive but I think some school districts have gone back to the “old days” when you couldn’t get your child into a school without proof of vaxx.

Hannah Olufs's avatar

Here, kids still have to be caught up on vaccines to enter school. Vets will take pets who aren't vaccinated, but it's the first thing they do. That's all local law of course, so undoubtedly there are differences.

I hear you. When I say destroyed- I don’t mean obliterated. I mean destroyed as in the destruction of the United States as we’ve known it. When catastrophe befalls you it’s important to understand the reality, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of everything, Vlad and his minions are subjecting us to a psychological shock and awe.

The country that WE subjected to physical shock and awe still exists, but it has been radically transformed. We are already in a “cold” Civil War and speaking the truth is not perpetuating a doomsday narrative. It is simply stating what we are going through,

I agree. You said Vlad “has destroyed”. He has not. He is snd always has targeted to try to destroy us. But, in fact we are not destroyed. Currently reading Alexia Navalvy’s memoir. Very inspiring. And he was very clear about calling things out as they are, and not sane-washing realities of what might be coming. In that, it must always include seeing things clearly as they are. Because any misinterpretation risks becoming the banner. The conclusion. We are at risk. Vlad is in hog heaven with this “prez”. A lot seems to be going wrong. But he did not destroy the U.S. Thank you for opp to discuss further.
