Pam Bondi is going to dunk those files in a bucket of bleach. That said, roughly 1,000 FBI and DOJ personnel have already seen them. Information will leak like the plumbing in a Trump apartment. I'm looking forward to real prosecutions with Bondi, Miller, Bonvino, Noem and the whole rotten cabal at the Defendant's table.

P123Sunny's avatar

Ways they can leak(?):

- Epstein Estate

- Maxwell

- Survivors

- FBI Agents who did redacting

- Guiffre’s ghost writer…

Susan Niemann's avatar

I think we will see the files...all of them. Eventually. To your point, there are plenty of outlets. BUT.

Jay Kuo says: The “Epstein Files” isn’t some centralized database. They comprise a host of electronic and physical evidence collected by the FBI, held under seal by the courts, used in civil proceedings, and held by third parties. The core investigative files, gathered by the FBI, are subject to strict chain-of-custody controls, meaning they have electronic timestamps, evidentiary IDs, digital authentications and audit trails. That’s very hard to mess with, at least not without someone noticing.

Ann Anderson's avatar

Good info, thx. I do think "eventually" is the key word. Jay's great.

Susan Niemann's avatar

He and Joyce Vance are doing a thing on this topic on Substack. Forgive me if I dont know the exact time...or if its over. But between the two of those sharp minds, they would know!

Marion Mlotok's avatar

My calendar says 7 PM (Central time).

Susan Niemann's avatar

Thanks for sharing that!

Marion Mlotok's avatar

Jay made an announcement that Joyce's flight was canceled and rescheduled so there won't be the planned livestream this evening. He's thinking it'll be at the same time on Sunday.

Charles Austin's avatar

The Epstein estate is fully cooperating with the House Oversight Committee. Most of what blew the lid off came from them.

Robert Eckert's avatar

They don't have the blackmail videos Epstein took: the FBI seized those long ago. If there is something that really nails Trump it will be a video with him.

Bonnie Council's avatar

But.....what the FBI reveals is up to Patel, right? And yeah, we trust him, right? No.

Robert Eckert's avatar

Or it might be up to a disgruntled fired career FBI agent that Patel did not know had a copy squirreled away.

SeekingReason's avatar

I hope this is the case. We gave them plenty of time to plan.

SPW's avatar

Elizabeth Cronise McLaughlin broke the bill down in its entirety on her You Tube channel yesterday and said pretty much what Jay Kuo indicated but with even more detail. youtube.com/live/xEB1mOJ

I hope the link works but if not, do a YT search. She’s quite good in her explanations.

Denise Donaldson's avatar

However, a reading of the bill shows that there are a number of loopholes the DoJ could use to withhold lots of material, and that's what Rump is counting on. It's why he gave Rs the OK to vote "yes" on the bill. We see that Blondi is already taking advantage of those exceptions.

Linda Weide's avatar

I am sure he was assured nothing incriminating against him would see the light of day.He seems to trust his loyalists to be good at criming.

Denise Donaldson's avatar

Thus far, his trust has proved to be well placed. The Halligan debacle notwithstanding, his minions have done a great job of f*cking up the entire country, regardless of any rulings against him.

Susan Niemann's avatar

THANK YOU for this!! 🙌

Zija Pulp's avatar

Sadly, it’s no longer available. Sigh.

Zija Pulp's avatar

Thank you! It worked.

DR Darke's avatar

"The core investigative files, gathered by the FBI, are subject to strict chain-of-custody controls, meaning they have electronic timestamps, evidentiary IDs, digital authentications and audit trails. That’s very hard to mess with, at least not without someone noticing."

And there's nobody LESS capable of doing that without screwing it all up horribly than The DonOLD Trump Klown Kar!

Pam Bondi? She'll probably erase Trump's name by using Wite-Out on her monitor.

Kash Patel? He'll clumsily scrawl "CHO BYDEN"'s in crayon over Trump's name.

Kristi Noem? She'll "edit" the files with a shotgun out at her gravel pit.

Susan Niemann's avatar

😂😂😂. Hilarious!

Linda Weide's avatar

Yes. By signing he was being unbelievably confident in their incompetence. He is going to be very busy trying to take the Epstein files out of the news cycle this next month by doing terrible things everywhere.

I read an interesting piece of the Mamdani videos and how they were made by independent film makers not political operatives.

https://www.thebulwark.com/p/inside-zohran-mamdani-campaign-viral-video-team?r=f0qfn&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false

Let us hope he has his own team to film him in the White House if he even ends up going.

DR Darke's avatar

"I read an interesting piece of the Mamdani videos and how they were made by independent film makers not political operatives."

Given his mother is an Oscar- and Pulitzer(!)-nominated, multiple award-winning independent filmmaker and writer herself? He's probably comfortable being around and working with other indie filmmakers—more so than he would be with Democratic Party political operatives, given how they tend to think more like Schmuck Schumer and Rancid Andy Cuomo than like him....

Linda Weide's avatar

Yes. I am familiar with and a fan of his mother's work. Mira Nair is quite an accomplished filmmaker. I first was introduced to her through her film "Mississippi Masala." I was thinking the same thing about Mamdani knowing the film world through his mom, and understanding the is as a visual medium. In fact, I could see Nair giving him that advice.

Corner Michael Wolff with a Congressional subpoena...

That lowlife knows shit we wouldn't believe.

arne link's avatar

"Lowlife" doesn't begin to cover it. He is just so skeevy, almost as gross as

Bannon. He looks like he showers but he's still gross. Yes, someone subpoena him.

Linda Weide's avatar

I agree with that. A book club I had just joined chose Michael Wolff's book "All or Nothing" to read. I started to read it and midway into the first chapter realized that I was feeling slimy myself just from reading about the thinking of the characters involved. I had to stop reading it. It made me thankful once again that none of my friends or family members are awful people like this, and there are no MAGAs. I don't need to interact with such despicable people not in person, or through reading. As I was reading, I was also forming a very negative opinion of Wolff as one realizes how close he is to the situations he is writing about.

Stranger Than Friction's avatar

Speaking of trials, and not that I have one iota of sympathy for That Man, but his closest staff appear to be manipulating an old man with dementia so that they can wild out in the WH, doing a bit of ethnic cleansing here, a little robbing of the Treasury (the People's Treasury) there, maybe throwing in some murder on the high seas, breaking international laws, possibly preparing to warmonger and throw our service members into harm's way, including compelling them to follow illegal orders. My point? ELDER ABUSE. Who is going to speak out and keep hammering home that That Man is unwell and being taken advantage of? Where are the Trump children, BTW? Are they looking out for "dear ol' dad"? It's just more shit on the big ol' pile of excrement this kakistocracy is building in a deep pool of corruption. When the dam breaks...hoo boy!

Robert Eckert's avatar

"Where are the Trump children, BTW?" Kicking back waiting for their inheritances, when not grifting in dubious Arab sheikdoms.

Kevin Dale Green's avatar

There is something in the files Trump doesn't want us to see. It might just be something embarrassing like the 'Bubba photo', but there is definitely something. Until they release whatever that is public pressure won't ease up. Once you take into account the nature of the information and the amount of people who have seen it, it's probably not an option to keep anything hidden,

David M Marko's avatar

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has subpoenaed Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan Chase, among others, for files on Epstein. JP Morgan Chase had cited over 4500 suspicious financial transactions involving Epstein. As I have previously said, I doubt Pedo Donnie will be brought down by any nefarious sexual proclivity. If he can be tied to financial involvement with Epstein's trafficking, that will be his Achilles cankle. Always follow the money.

Joe Witkowski's avatar

Re: “I doubt Pedo Donnie will be brought down by any nefarious sexual proclivity”

We already know from MAGA-owned South Park that he fucks the devil

DuduLovesBubu's avatar

Apparently he's getting pretty hot and heavy with Tatoo JD as well.

Dr J's Sanity Space's avatar

David: 100%! I have been saying this for a while now, that for him, money is everything so it has to be some laundering or other fucked up stuff.

Zija Pulp's avatar

Yeah, but money laundering is so 1980s. That’s been Donnie’s bread and butter for many, many years. I’d be surprise if the IRS and DOJ don’t already know this. I think whatever is in these files must be really bad.

Maria Devereux's avatar

I'd guess a combination of really disgusting sexual deviance, probably with boys as well as young women, and explicitly traitorous dealings with Russia that hurt the finances of ordinary Americans. Otherwise he'd figure he could ride it out no problem with his moronic MAGA base.

T L Mills's avatar

I'm wondering if it isn't something about pedophilia, but rather some sort of Russian/crypto/classified information and/or money laundering deal that has some horrifying market-crashing implications or something of that nature?

Cyndi's avatar

I agree. Money is his only true love, so to scare him this much for this long, it has to threaten his wallet.

KP Johnson Austin, TX's avatar

We all knew that was going to happen. The only thing that could bury these people will be the dear women who were victims naming names.

Linda Weide's avatar

I am wondering why information has not leaked up until now. This has been a long time to sit on something given the public outcry. Also, I wonder if the message to the military could also be taken as a message to MAGA that they can jump ship.

Ann Anderson's avatar

Good question. I think it's because ppl are waiting for it to be clear that Trump is done and is no longer a threat to them personally, and when that happens ...

Linda Weide's avatar

Perhaps. However, the voting on the Epstein Files bill in Congress already showed that Trump's unanimous MAGA wall is crumbling. Once you have a few loose bricks and the mortar is falling out, the wall may crumble unless you do what you need to do to repair it. Calling MTG MTB is not the way to go about it, or is it?

November 25 is The 25 International Day Against Violence Towards Women. As my daughter said, that should be every day! I totally agree. We need to really stand up and speak out about how we are treated by this admin, and in general. It is not okay

My hunch is that the collapse of MAGA will be like the answer Hemingway gave to how did you go bankrupt. Gradually then all at once.

True, Susan Collins might be very concerned. When will Maine get rid of that twerp? I hope that this is the year Maine frees itself.

T L Mills's avatar

Fingers crossed, here in Maine!

arne link's avatar

I'm curious. What do you think about the mussel farming guy? Did his tattoos put him out of the running? What is the local scuttlebutt? Does Maine have a decent challenger?

T L Mills's avatar

I really like the oyster farmer and people do make mistakes when they are young, drunk, far from home and fighting a war in a country that is referred to as "The Graveyard of Empires".

That he didn't know what it meant but thought it was "cool" isn't too hard to believe. It's a little harder to believe that no one TOLD him what it meant...but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Tattoo removal is costly but he could have had it reworked.

I don't know. I do think we need some progressive young blood in the Senate, but Fetterman has unfortunately given everybody a fit of cynicism and doubt. Too bad.

I'm a bit frosted that Schumer talked Janet Mills (Governor who will be termed out in 2026 (and no relation btw)) into running for the Senate, because while she's done a decent job as Governor, I don't think her centrist views are what we need to get us past Trump and his destructive authoritarian bullshit. But if she wins the primary I will vote for her as opposed to Susie Concerned, that much is for certain.

Next up the meeting with that bone saw prince, who, of course did not wear a suit and tie- oh where is that outrage energy from Just Dance Vance or MTG’s reporter boy toy?Selling F35 fighter jets to SA? So they can turn around and sell or give to the Russians or Chinese or Iran for their advanced technology values.. This is so very wrongheaded. Best to all.

My WWII father used to use that wonderful phrase, "shit from shinola," which is one of my many fond memories of him. Watching them in action with Zelenskyy tells me exactly how this will go. They're not big on subtle. It'll be an ambush attack with six or eight cabinet and media stooges there to berate and insult ZM. They will have to scream to drown him out, because his responses will be polite and viciously pleasant. He will pretend he's dealing with rational human beings. They will humiliate themselves by looking like maniacs. Fox will declare 'victory' that Donny and his Band Of Scum "owned' Mamdani and etc and etc. Stephen Miller will declare he should be put to death.

Mamdani knows to flatter him. He'll probably even bring some swag.

He knows that JD and others will be there to try to attack from his flank.

He just did a very smart thing and invited Jessica Tisch to stay on as Police Commissioner even though they have very different goals and even though she is a billionaire (scion of a real estate developer family, in fact). It gives some continuity, shows he can work with people who are more conservative/lawn-order than he is, and gives the billionaire class and the cops both some reassurance that he's not going full-bore antifa right off the bat, even if he has some longer-term goals that are at odds with what they ultimately want.

If Democrats dont screw up, we must get rid of these traitorous cult members....I dont think Donnie will even live long enough to see the midterms. 🙏 Here's hoping.

His voice gets higher and higher as he rants. If you let him squeak on does it become only audible to bats?🤣😂🦇

I think I’ll call him LSMFT (that’s for all the old people out there. )

That's the panic of a man who didn't get the dictatorship locked down tight before things went to shit.

Unlike Trump, he's not protected by the bullshit presidential immunity that the Supreme Court granted and is reportedly reconsidering just in time for a Democratic administration. He knows if the Dems get into power, he's cooked.

Jennifer's avatar

I wonder which person will be in charge of keeping track of all the corruption and laws broken, and who broke them during Trump's regime? The next Pam Bondi? That's a helluva lot of bookkeeping. Whomever gets that job needs a raise and they haven't been appointed yet.

Also, raise your hand if you're surprised the Epstein files are coming out heavily redacted and/or "nope just kidding" because investigation reasons.

Consequences? We keep using that word. I don't think it means what we think it means.

just as long as it's not Merrick Garland in charge of the next Democratic president's DOJ

And while we’re making plans, how about a class action suit by all Americans who started drinking more heavily since 2016, to cope with living in this fucking timeline. Alcohol costs need to be reimbursed and on top of that, the cost of all the morning-after Tylenol we’ve had to consume. And don’t get me started mentioning the pain and suffering

Diane J's avatar

And the hemp infused drinks, powders, edibles and other calming remedies we now need to try to stay sane.

How about all three of them share that job?

There's going to be plenty of work to keep a tribe of decent judges busy for a decade or more.

Marlene, I like the idea of all three!

Any Black woman would have my vote. Not only do they have to be 10 times more competent to get anywhere, but it would drive Trump insane. He'd be shouting "piggy piggy piggy" until they came with nets to take him away.

Kamala would be quite appropriate in that role

I won’t be around long enough for the outcome if it would be Garland!!

Susan Niemann's avatar

I was wondering that same thing. Surely someone in the Democratic party is keeping list of all the laws that have been broken under this administration. It's gonna be one helluva impeachment too. If the old fuck even lives that long.

SeekingReason's avatar

My gov (Pritzker) formed a special committee to record every video, interview, photo, of every I.C.E. Violation. Pritzker has a law degree. He’s prepping for international court.

Susan Niemann's avatar

I used to live in Illinois and I’m a BIG FAN of Pritzker. This is great to know!! 👏👏👏👏

Robert Eckert's avatar

I'm a diehard Petenik, but I could easily support Pritzker for President (though I assume he would rather stay in his current job)

zuzu's avatar

He's going to be term-limited out at some point, isn't he? Or does Illinois not have term limits?

Robert Eckert's avatar

Illinois does not have term limits. Pritzker is running for a 3rd term next year, which would not preclude a 2028 run for the Presidency but makes it look more likely that his intention is to remain governor for that full term.

Cathy Wray's avatar

Wow, that's excellent!!! I love Pritzker!!

Schnauzermom's avatar

God, I love the thought of this…

Marlene Lerner-Bigley (CA)'s avatar

I am certain it’s several of them but wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t Eric Swalwell, Jasmine Crockett, or Joe Neguse. Neguse’s takedown of Republicans this week was epic! https://youtu.be/U9IfJvg2E8k?si=UsfmNOXC0UYBcSIz

Eric Swalwell is announcing his candidacy for Governor of California tonight on the Kimmel show I was told by his campaign manager.

Yippee! Inasmuch as I want a woman for governor, Swalwell should win.

I agree, I don't think it means what we think it means either. Our republic has already been taken way out into uncharted waters. The Nuremberg trials were unprecedented for their time, whatever comes now will be equally so.

There will be everything you say, and more. What there won't be is any finality of "once and for all". The pressure will not suddenly dissipate when Bondi, not exactly chock-full of credibility now, announces some lame-ass excuse for not releasing the files. And the 'files' still grow. The job of documenting their *current* atrocities is already well underway by citizen-sleuths and reporters. Record everything. Some of it will pay off in the future.

See, their whole formula for success was predicated on a solid belief that they could bulldoze past every law and institution (public and private) in their way, distract and intimidate the American people with their 'might', and successfully reign for a Thousand Year Reich. That scenario seems to not be playing out quite as they planned. They may or may not remember that even Hitler's Reich lasted only 12 years. This one is sputtering and may not see one or two.

Hopefully someone is hiring all the fired DoJ employees to do this.

We need a BIG shadow government.

Kevin Dale Green's avatar

The next administration has a fine line to walk. We can't let 'throw the other party in jail' become the norm for every succeeding administration. But, we can't let actual crimes go unpunished.

Republicans won't be charged by a Republican AG and they'll yell partisan bias if charged by a Democratic AG. The new AG has to make it clear that the DOJ doesn't take party affiliation into account for any reason. The fear of what will happen when the other party comes into power has kept the kinds of things we're seeing now mostly in check. We've got to reestablish that fear going forward while making it clear that we are following the rule of law.

You know what, though...we ought to thank them. Halligan and Bondi and the rest. Because of them, none of us should ever ever ever fall victim to imposter syndrome, since there's no fucking way we'd be worse at any job we might ever have than they are at theirs.

I would bet that he's paid for and been responsible for abortions in his checkered and immoral past. See this case: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shera_Bechard

Michael Cohen was involved in a payoff scheme while working as Trump's fixer, so possibly Broidy took the fall for trump. Broidy is a sketchy asshole anyhow. He later pled guilty to acting as an unregistered foreign agent, and was pardoned by trump in 2021. Quid pro quo?
