Thanks Jeff. It's not surprising to see Elon Musk in the same article. Both he and Trump are offensive ignorant narcissists. The only way to tell them apart is that Elon is not orange... yet. They are both human garbage.

HI2thDoc's avatar

musk has devolved into a full grown POS. He thinks his money and stature are a license to take over our system. He's simply a racist asshole, just a rich one.

Kate's avatar

He was always one…he just used to keep his mouth shut about it. He and Thiel are cut from the same garbage bag

Geoff Anderson's avatar

Read about his first divorce and you will learn all you need to recognize him as a piece of filth

Al Ross III's avatar

How could anyone male or female think that marriage to this piece of excrement would be a worthwhile endeavor?

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

$$$$$ trumps all, with some people.

Tardigret's avatar

Now I'm curious to fall down that rabbit hole, haha

HulitC's avatar

I’m not sure he kept his mouth shut, it’s just that he didn’t own sitter before.

TCinLA's avatar

"Xitter" is pronounced "shitter."

Cheryl Fleming's avatar

Yes. I'm so glad you agree with me! 😂

Yonah's avatar

perfect! thank you!

Megan Ross's avatar

I really wish someone would take Musk out to dinner, without the dinner part...

Doc Blase''s avatar

I would like him to be the first astronaut to land on the sun.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

He could be a great planetary ally with the right caring, forward-thinking, woman to guide him. Instead he has Vultures, douchebros, and edge-lords encouraging childish, troll behavior.

Yonah's avatar

that is what he chooses. and being the richest person in the world he has infinite choices...

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

He seems to need male validation more than anything.

James LoMonaco's avatar

Hannibal Lecter perhaps?

Rhoda Ozen's avatar

🤣😂🤣😂👏👏

HI2thDoc's avatar

Haha, like The Interview

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

Well his "reality advisor" is the evil Vulture Capitalist, David Sacks playing "Grima Wormtongue" to Musk's "King Theodan". Musk needs a nice, humanitarian, leftist, lady (like AOC) to explain how wrong his current selfish, destructive, ways are, and to encourage him to help democracy and the planet, not hasten its demise..

https://newrepublic.com/article/168125/david-sacks-elon-musk-peter-thiel

HI2thDoc's avatar

Except a woman like that would probably want nothing to do with him

Kate's avatar

He’s made lewd remarks towards AOC on shitter too, he’s a total incel.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

Sadly, he's always performing for his edge-lord fan-boys, such a waste.

Dr J's Sanity Space's avatar

Indeed! One would have to be as big a piece of shit as he is to associate with him in anyway

Renae Tokheim's avatar

Maybe a room full of AOCs, no one should try to talk to him one on one. Creeps me out just thinking about it. All this craziness is never going to end, is it?

Doc Blase''s avatar

Not as long as Drumph walks this earth. And then some, probably. We won't have another April 30, 1945.

Morgan's avatar

Yes George!! Human Garbage is right!!

Bonnie Council's avatar

This country needs to thoroughly and completely rid itself of Elon Musk and everything associated with him. I can't think of anything more frightening than the wealthiest man in the world cozing up to the arrogant, narcissistic, lying, convicted felon lunatic that is running for president.

George A. Polisner's avatar

I agree Bonnie. It’s tragic that there are those in academia and/or are subject matter experts who toil in obscurity. They could offer the world guidance on climate, poverty, greater security and global cooperation, and much more.

Yet the media seeks out the latest hate-babble from ignorant wealthy narcissists like Trump and Musk.

Our world would be far better off if “Space Boy” would load up his next rocket with himself, Trump, Putin, Orban, and a handful of others and take a one-way trip to Mars. And the media could do us a favor and not amplify the toxic garbage that is a steady stream from a confederacy of criminal dunces.

Doc Blase''s avatar

One is stupider than the other. I can't tell which.

Runfastandwin's avatar

it's not illegal to hide in a bush with a cache of guns, especially in Florida.

Veronica Speedwell's avatar

Thank you.

Help me out here. Been tuning into the coverage today.

Reporters are reiterating the narrative that the Secret Service saw movement in the shrubs and what they thought was the barrel of a rifle, and they "fired" in that direction.

Is it normal to shoot first, ask questions later?

What if it were a kid with a toy gun, or a homeless person with a walking stick, or ??

What are the parameters for shooting at rustling in the bushes before investigating?

Trump was 1/10 of a mile away, or more. What is the perimeter for shooting first, asking questions later? 1/4 mile? Half a mile? It wasn't publicly announced that trump was going to be there.

What if a curiosity seeker decided to climb the fence and scope out the golf course, or a homeless person crawl into the shrubbery for a nap. Do they pay with their life if trump happens to take an unannounced golf break?

LORI D's avatar

BUT the police chief said a civilian saw the guy run out of the bushes and get into a black SUV which the witness took photos of and gave to the cops.

Secret service was already there shooting at the guy? Why exactly were they 1/10th mile away monitoring these bushes? Does any of this make sense?

CAM from 🇨🇦's avatar

No, it doesn’t and neither does the first one. Somebody loves the attention… just saying

Lynn Van Haren's avatar

Someone needs the narrative

CAM from 🇨🇦's avatar

Yes, but who’s talking?y

Declan's avatar

No Lori it.doesnt make sense. How convenient....a trumper eagerly informing police of description of perp & vehicle ...AND a photo!! As Sheriff said...'That was fantastic!' 🫠 And the media dutifully reports the heroism of SS & now Donny has another week of media attention.

Veronica Speedwell's avatar

Just like the fiction that Corey the firefighter heroically "saved" his family members. Unless the laws of physics recently have changed, he would not have had time to have heard the shots and flung himself atop his loved ones. The bullets reached the area before the sound did!

But the media doesn't care as long as they get their "heartwarming human-interest story."

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

That sounds more noble, than the fact the poor dead, bugger fell on them.

arne link's avatar

Probably just another set-up like his ear. They will do anything for attention and threats to Dear Leader.

Sharon C Storm's avatar

The gun muzzle was near a hole on the golf course that tfg was getting closer to. If the secret service guy hadn’t seen it (he was an advance guard), the shooter could have killed him.

LORI D's avatar

So the secret service was an advance guy that could see the muzzle of the gun sticking out of the bushes, presumably not leaned on the fence or lying on the ground, but held by the shooter, correct? At some point then, SS shoots at the guy but misses.

The guy runs out of the bushes to a black SUV and a witness was able to get a clear photo of the license plate before he drove off. And secret service was where? Were they close enough to see the muzzle pointing out of the bushes? Or was the rifle already leaned up against the fence? I still have more questions than even these. To me, something isn't right.

arne link's avatar

Nothing is ever right with these people. It's always a scam of some sort. Remember how the SS agents "protected" him when he slammed the blood pack against his ear? They didn't keep him down and they didn't cover him. That's not right.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

And during the 2016 campaign, the secret service hustled him off stage because of a perceived threat, and he looked like he shit himself (rightly so, guns are scary) But they hustled him off the stage, with the Pennsylvania shooting he raises his fist and yells "fight" Fight what? and they didn't hustle him offstage until after, very strange, now this.

MattSMaine's avatar

Based on the map I saw, he was apprehended 40 miles away! That also seems weird to me.

CAM from 🇨🇦's avatar

It sure doesn’t pass the smell test, except the one from his diaper.

Lynn Van Haren's avatar

Of course it isn’t! Look who we are dealing with! Trump needed the narrative changed

Veronica Speedwell's avatar

But the agent reportedly shot just becuase they spotted what they thought was a rifle barrel in the shrubs. Can they just shoot on a hunch like that? No due diligence necessary?

If it's that important to keep the shrubs safe for Done-old, inspect them ahead of time (the guy was there for 12 hours!) don't shoot at rustling in the bushes.

They can't just be firing off rounds at civilians when they don't yet know what is going on.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

Especially in a wealthy golfers only course what if it was a guy's club moving getting his ball out?

Doc Blase''s avatar

Maybe. We usually establish what someone was thinking by showing what they did.

Perhaps he'd succeeded, perhaps not; but the intent seems pretty clear.

Marsha's avatar

I read that they were the advance team to clear the way for DonOld - that’s why he was so far away on another hole.

Doc Blase''s avatar

The SS Agent was an advance element, working ahead of the Orange Dictator.

Marie Martin's avatar

Veronica, Why is it that our “regular guy” common sense questions, such as yours, don’t appear to be part of “professionals” queries? If they are discussed, we never hear about it.

Veronica Speedwell's avatar

I have tried sending questions like this to Washington Post reporters and others, but they don't even bother to reply let alone answer the query. So frustrating.

Dotty's avatar

And this is the same secret service that didn't see Crook running around with ladders and guns last time ? 😂🤣 Sure buck 😉😉

Doc Blase''s avatar

The same SS that had no problem with open windows in Dealey Plaza.

Dotty's avatar

Yea. He paid his fans to

adore him at his rallys ,now he's probley paying them to take misfires on him , or at least take a rap for a few . Nothing absolutely nothing is too low for the kompromat

D Kitterman's avatar

Great points, Veronica.

Doc Blase''s avatar

Typically, facts are hard to come by, especially at first and particularly in today's 'media' which is short on talent and long on speed.

It very well could have been that the SS Agent did command the Subject to drop the weapon and show his hands... but the Suspect did not comply, then it went the way it went.

Chris Hierholzer's avatar

There's so many guns in Florida that it's not unheard of to drop one in the bushes. Case solved. Next.

Doc Blase''s avatar

dropped while holding it. Happens to me all. the. time. [/s].

Mike Hammer's avatar

He should have said he was hunting alligators.

Geoff Anderson's avatar

Yeah, orange hued alligators that are closer to hippopotamus' in stature

Rhoda Ozen's avatar

Oh no! Those “crime committing Martians,” are at it again?

SPW's avatar

Right. It’s a rite of passage.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

Hell, Deathsantis practically encourages it!

Doc Blase''s avatar

The cache of one rifle is "guns"?

Gina Wulff's avatar

Apparently the suspect was over 500 yards away from where Donnie was golfing. Five football fields. If it’s dangerous to be 500 yards away from someone with a gun then the whole state is in danger in this open carry state.

Kate's avatar

Open carry is NOT legal in Florida—but permit-less carry is.

Zija Pulp's avatar

What?! That makes no sense at all. Is this permit the same as registration? So citizens can carry arms without a permit but hidden on their body or in their handbag/briefcase?

Kate's avatar

Basically it is a total free for all, yes.

They want people dead in Springfield. The more the better. Any Republican must choose NOW to announce support for the Harris/Walz ticket or forever cast their lot with the American Nazi Paety, the Aryan Brotherhood, the KKK, and the Endtimes Brigade. Vance should face censure from his own colleagues in the Senate.

Tardigret's avatar

Day 3 of no response from Vladimir Futon's office. I left messages at his Ohio offices. I said that I live in Ohio, and I want to know why he isn't HELPING our state, rather than making things more dangers. Crickets.

Couldn't leave a message at his DC office, because the mailbox was full.

Next up: I'm going to one of his offices in person.

Carol C's avatar

Yes, do that, do it for us non-Ohioans!

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

"Vladimir Futon!" excellent!

Carol C's avatar

Can Ohio citizens demand his recall? He has been supporting chaos in Springfield.

Patrick Daniels aka Cromulent1's avatar

Saying he and Trump need to create stories should disqualify him from holding any public office Carol C!!

HulitC's avatar

I suggested that, but I’ve learned can’t be done in Ohio.😡

Robert Eckert's avatar

It can't be done anywhere in the United States. It's a federal office, governed by the US Constitution, which has no recall provisions.

Dave Drell's avatar

the USA senate could recall him

with 2/3 vote (oops… that’s a tough one)

it’s been done over a dozen times since the 1700s

Robert Eckert's avatar

The Senate can "expel" him. That's not what the word "recall" means, which refers to his constituents voting him out.

Ethereal Fairy's avatar

Should, but given the scum republicans happy with the distraction, from trumps cognitive decline on open display at the debate, I'd bet they wont allow it.

As for the apparent assassination, let’s wait for the FBI’s report before we make any assumptions.

Vickie Berry's avatar

If your voting by mail the Postal Service is not operating at its best, to say the least. Many places have official ballot “boxes” that are delivered to the election site daily. It’s just a way to ensure your vote gets counted and received on time.

Veronica Speedwell's avatar

We the chump taxpayers fork out $3 billion a year on the Secret Service and god knows how much on state and local cops, not to mention other agencies - and no one looks in the shrubs before a golf game? (Which, frankly, I think trump should have to reimburse the taxpayer for protection while he's doing recreational activities; why the fuck should we pay for that?)

Whose fault is this? Don't get me wrong, I would have broken out the good champagne if yesterday had a different outcome. But if we have to pay for it, why can't these law enforcement stumblebums do a halfway decent job, instead of letting trump reap the victim/martyr status of all of these "near misses" ??

Heidi Mohrlang's avatar

The amount of debt us citizens are paying for this ignoramus includes (probably missing some too)

*Robbing taxpayers to pay the wealthy

*Printing more money than any other US president in history (we pay for dat underhanded tax increase move)

*Court Costs

*Time value

*PTSD

*Pain

*Suffering

*Constant fear for the future

*Torture

*Demoralization

*Bankruptcy (is it 6 times?)

*Did I say FEAR⁉️

*ABSOLUTE LONG-TERM #FEAR

*Loss of sleep

*Loss of many lives

*Degradation of members of our military and the veterans who served and gave their lives

I could go on and on and on…

Writing this short list has made me 🤢

*Horrendous Bigotry

Susie in OH's avatar

There needs to be some limitations on the extent of covering all the extra curricular activities of that bunch. Any security for vacations need to be paid for by them. They are billionaires after all. Same goes for all the golf courses. Choose one. That’s it. No more. And one trip to a personal property per month. You want to go to other homes/clubs every weekend, you pop at for the security. It’s ridiculous. And he has to provide expenses for housing SS too.

Kristy Kanen's avatar

I'm deeply disappointed in these would be assassins. 😕

Robert Eckert's avatar

I don't want Trump shot. I need to see him imprisoned. The system has to be seen to function, even in the case of a rich powerful malefactor, something that has not generally happened lately.

Tardigret's avatar

Right! I don't want him shot for several reasons. First, I don't want anyone shot. Second, I want to see Trump lose bigly, then spend months in court before finally getting sentences. Of course, he'll never get worse than house arrest, but I want him to be a loser in every way

Heidi Mohrlang's avatar

I’m with you, Kristy Kanen. I want him to suffer significantly more than he has made us suffer to pay repentance for his actions and crimes 🤡s of his type need to be removed from society and locked 🆙 We’ll have to pay for that too!

I envision him on a tiny deserted island 🏝️. It would be to his liking, I think. ⛳️⏩🏝️ instead of a golf club and balls, he needs a rod and lures 🎣

Heidi Mohrlang's avatar

I think this dude figures even if he didn’t harm Trump he still got noticed and his goal was attention about assisting Ukraine. He’s mentally ill to the extent he is obsessive about getting help for Ukraine and Trump is a threat to Ukraine.

Heidi Mohrlang's avatar

This assassin’s association with the Ukraine could be related to his reasons for his shooting but my gut tells me different.

Mental illness - undiagnosed mental illness is why this guy is behaving and thinking so poorly.
