Our world would be far better off if “Space Boy” would load up his next rocket with himself, Trump, Putin, Orban, and a handful of others and take a one-way trip to Mars. Veronica Speedwell's avatar

Thank you.

Help me out here. Been tuning into the coverage today.

Reporters are reiterating the narrative that the Secret Service saw movement in the shrubs and what they thought was the barrel of a rifle, and they "fired" in that direction.

Is it normal to shoot first, ask questions later?

What if it were a kid with a toy gun, or a homeless person with a walking stick, or ??

What are the parameters for shooting at rustling in the bushes before investigating?

Trump was 1/10 of a mile away, or more. What is the perimeter for shooting first, asking questions later? 1/4 mile? Half a mile? It wasn't publicly announced that trump was going to be there.

What if a curiosity seeker decided to climb the fence and scope out the golf course, or a homeless person crawl into the shrubbery for a nap. Do they pay with their life if trump happens to take an unannounced golf break?

Expand full comment
LORI D's avatar

BUT the police chief said a civilian saw the guy run out of the bushes and get into a black SUV which the witness took photos of and gave to the cops.

Secret service was already there shooting at the guy? Why exactly were they 1/10th mile away monitoring these bushes? Does any of this make sense?

Expand full comment
Veronica Speedwell's avatar

Just like the fiction that Corey the firefighter heroically "saved" his family members. Unless the laws of physics recently have changed, he would not have had time to have heard the shots and flung himself atop his loved ones. The bullets reached the area before the sound did!

But the media doesn't care as long as they get their "heartwarming human-interest story."

The gun muzzle was near a hole on the golf course that tfg was getting closer to. If the secret service guy hadn’t seen it (he was an advance guard), the shooter could have killed him.

Expand full comment
LORI D's avatar

So the secret service was an advance guy that could see the muzzle of the gun sticking out of the bushes, presumably not leaned on the fence or lying on the ground, but held by the shooter, correct? At some point then, SS shoots at the guy but misses.

The guy runs out of the bushes to a black SUV and a witness was able to get a clear photo of the license plate before he drove off. And secret service was where? Were they close enough to see the muzzle pointing out of the bushes? Or was the rifle already leaned up against the fence? I still have more questions than even these. To me, something isn't right.

Expand full comment
arne link's avatar

Nothing is ever right with these people. It's always a scam of some sort. Remember how the SS agents "protected" him when he slammed the blood pack against his ear? They didn't keep him down and they didn't cover him. That's not right.

Expand full comment
Ethereal fairy Natalie's avatar

And during the 2016 campaign, the secret service hustled him off stage because of a perceived threat, and he looked like he shit himself (rightly so, guns are scary) But they hustled him off the stage, with the Pennsylvania shooting he raises his fist and yells "fight" Fight what? and they didn't hustle him offstage until after, very strange, now this.

But the agent reportedly shot just becuase they spotted what they thought was a rifle barrel in the shrubs. Can they just shoot on a hunch like that? No due diligence necessary?

If it's that important to keep the shrubs safe for Done-old, inspect them ahead of time (the guy was there for 12 hours!) don't shoot at rustling in the bushes.

They can't just be firing off rounds at civilians when they don't yet know what is going on.

They are billionaires after all. Same goes for all the golf courses. Choose one. That’s it. No more. And one trip to a personal property per month. You want to go to other homes/clubs every weekend, you pop at for the security. It’s ridiculous. And he has to provide expenses for housing SS too.

I don't want Trump shot. I need to see him imprisoned. The system has to be seen to function, even in the case of a rich powerful malefactor, something that has not generally happened lately.

Right! I don't want him shot for several reasons. First, I don't want anyone shot. Second, I want to see Trump lose bigly, then spend months in court before finally getting sentences. Of course, he'll never get worse than house arrest, but I want him to be a loser in every way

I’m with you, Kristy Kanen. I want him to suffer significantly more than he has made us suffer to pay repentance for his actions and crimes 🤡s of his type need to be removed from society and locked 🆙 We’ll have to pay for that too!

I envision him on a tiny deserted island 🏝️. It would be to his liking, I think. ⛳️⏩🏝️ instead of a golf club and balls, he needs a rod and lures 🎣

Harris could. But she’s ignoring it and it’s probably for the best. Why give this person more oxygen when Harris knows the truth. They were both single when they dated. Whatever happened between them is none of anybody’s business.

I think this dude figures even if he didn’t harm Trump he still got noticed and his goal was attention about assisting Ukraine. He’s mentally ill to the extent he is obsessive about getting help for Ukraine and Trump is a threat to Ukraine.

This assassin’s association with the Ukraine could be related to his reasons for his shooting but my gut tells me different.

Mental illness - undiagnosed mental illness is why this guy is behaving and thinking so poorly.

Not any different than when he was president. He spent more time golfing and fucking off at our expense rather than attempting to do his job. So the phony demented dipshit posts 0-2 and puts out his usual call for cash as a white GOP wackadoddle past Trump voter with an assault weapon gets detained for an alleged assassination attempt. What to say about some of these comments? Holy fuck! Saying anyone who killed Harris would be an American hero is absolutely a threat. An incitement to violence. Is ANYONE going to do anything about this shit. Jesus fucking Christ, most of us would be in custody now if we posted anything remotely close to that. It's not surprising that given the fact that they don't give a fuck about people, why should they give a fuck that these calls put the very people who are supposed to protecting presidents, candidates, VPs right in the line of danger. But, hey, they not only didn't give a fuck on January 6th, but they actively attacked Capitol police and Metro Police. I am beyond enraged and exhausted with these sick, vile, evil scumbags. While I do not call for them to be murdered, I would definitely love to see them all die very painful deaths. I just can't believe what this has come to. Maybe we should just let climate change be and let it kill us all off. Humanity is clearly despicable.
