E. Jean Carroll defeats Donald Trump once again, and other tales of sweet justice
Donny deserves every just dessert that’s coming to him
the torrent of bad news just keeps getting worse for the quadrice-indicted twice-impeached popular-vote-losing adderall-huffing insurrection-leading judge-threatening lawyer-ignoring witness-tampering game-show-hosting serial-sexual-predating draft-dodging casino-bankrupting daughter-perving hush-money-paying real-estate-scamming bone-spur-faking ketchup-hurling justice-obstructing classified-war-plan-thieving weather-map-defacing horse-paste-promoting paper-towel-flinging tax-cheating evidence-destroying charity-defrauding money-laundering diaper-filling fluorescent tangerine jackass who just can’t seem to go five minutes without criming.
E. Jean Carroll has won a second defamation judgement against the gross pig who
raped — excuse me, sexually assaulted — her.
A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that Donald Trump is civilly liable for defamatory statements he made about writer E. Jean Carroll in 2019 when she went public with claims he had raped her decades earlier.
the judge basically ruled that since E. Jean had already proved defamation in her previous trial, the jury in this trial could just skip ahead to the part where they figure out how much moolah Trump has to fork over.
Judge Lewis Kaplan, as part of that ruling, said the upcoming trial for Carroll’s lawsuit against Trump will only deal with the question of how much the former president should pay her in monetary damages for defaming her.
it’s especially satisfying to see justice prevail here, because E. Jean Carroll is a boss, and Donald Trump is a deteriorating old bag of shit who deserves every just dessert that’s coming to him.
a shitload of other good news happened yesterday.
Trump could be trapped in a Georgia courtroom for four months
yesterday, Fani Willis laid out a timeline for her Big Georgia Election Fuckery Trial.
A trial involving former president Donald Trump and 18 others accused of conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential election in Georgia will probably take four months, once a jury is selected, and feature testimony from more than 150 witnesses, prosecutors said in court Wednesday.
how goddamned awesome is that? remember, in a criminal trial, the defendants must be present at all times — meaning that right in the middle of primary season, Donald Trump could be trapped in a Georgia courtroom for months on end.
Trump gets smacked by yet another judge
Letitia James’s lawsuit against Trump and his felonious children goes to trial on October 2nd. so of course Donny asked the the presiding judge to delay the start of the trial, because that’s what he does.
but judges have finally caught on and have had enough of Trump’s bullshit.
Judge Engoron didn’t even bother to type out a response — he pretty much just scrawled “go fuck yourself, see you in court” on the cover of the filing.
one more reminder that no one wants to go to prison for Little Donny Fuckface
hey, remember when Trump tried to get the butler, the pool boy and the IT nerd to erase the security footage that showed him fucking with the stolen classified war plans he was hiding in the unspeakably ugly shitter of his grotesque vermin-infested Florida golf motel?
well, the butler and pool boy are now under indictment and will be going on trial along with their felonious boss — but not the IT nerd.
why? because The Man Who Convicts War Criminals In The Hague got him to flip, and he’ll now be testifying against his former partners in crime.
Mar-a-Lago IT worker Yuscil Taveras has struck a cooperation agreement with the special counsel’s office in the federal case over former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents, Taveras’ former defense attorney said in a new court filing.
Taveras struck the deal with prosecutors after he was threatened with prosecution, defense attorney Stanley Woodward wrote in the filing dated Tuesday.
oh Donny, you’re so fucking fucked.
Colorado voters want to 14th Amendment the shit out of Donald Trump
Six Colorado voters filed a lawsuit on Wednesday seeking to keep former President Donald J. Trump off the state’s ballots under the 14th Amendment, which says anyone who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the Constitution after taking an oath to defend it is ineligible to hold office.
human rights 1, sadistic bastard governor 0
a federal judge has ruled that Greg Abbott’s razor wire booby traps in the Rio Grande violate federal law and must be removed.
U.S. District Judge David Ezra ruled that the 1,000-foot-long string of large buoys and saw blades in Eagle Pass, Texas, was ordered deployed by Gov. Greg Abbott without proper federal authorization.
holy shit, saw blades.
Abbott must be super fucking pissed off that he won’t be able to get any more migrants killed — at least not until he comes up with some other horrific scheme.
Cheese and Kraken, sitting in a tree
Kenny Cheese really didn’t want to go to trial alongside the unhinged weirdo who calls herself the Kraken Lady — and apparently the feeling was mutual, because they both petitioned to have their cases severed from the other’s — but the judge was all tough shit, my dudes, life is full of disappointments.
A judge in Georgia on Wednesday denied motions from two co-defendants to sever their cases from one another in the sprawling racketeering prosecution against Donald Trump.
Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee handed down the decision after more than 90 minutes of arguments from prosecutors and defense counsel. The ruling is a win for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, and means Kenneth Chesebro and Sidney Powell will be tried together, beginning Oct. 23.
I’ll leave you with this the quote of the day, from John Fetterman:
Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) had some blunt words for Republicans who are pushing to impeach President Joe Biden: It’ll bite you in next year’s elections.
“Go ahead. Do it, I dare you,” Fetterman said during an interview with a handful of reporters in his Capitol Hill office on Wednesday. “If you can find the votes, go ahead, because you’re going to lose. It’s a loser.”
