well, in the first hour since this piece was posted, about ten people have canceled their paid subscriptions and called me an antisemite. so I'm having a fun day
Im tired that after 60 years the Israelis and their neighbors are still fighting. Its obviously become a safe and secure, steady source of income for some people.
I am so tired of being Jewish, growing up with a close relative who survived a stint in Auschwitz, and being called an anti-semite for supporting the rights of Palestinians to exist.
I support the existence of Israel: the Jewish people have a right to a homeland. So do the Palestinians. It's not really a difficult concept, as pretty much every kindergartener is expected to master the basic idea: SHARE. It could be accomplished. Except Israel is currently stuck with a Prime Minister who is as ghastly as the US President, both of whom, apparently, skipped kindergarten.
My suggestion is a 3 part solution - make Jerusalem an international city managed by UNESCO; and provide a separately governed Israeli and Palestinian homeland.
I would never cancel my subscription. Although El Sayed is friends with Hasan Piker although he is distancing himself from it.
My feeling is the Israelis and the surrounding Arab countries have literally been fighting for 60 years. This violence is their main industry. It should not even be an issue in our elections.
The modern Middle Eastern conflicts are a result of the WWI divving up of the area by the British and French in the Sykes-Picot Agreement: the cultural differences among the Arab peoples, including the sects of Islam, were of zero concern to the Europeans. The differences and their accompanying conflicts were exacerbated and became the modern maelstrom that has plagued the region since 1916.
Exactly--and the various tribal conflicts go back even further. But the Sykes-Picot Agreement--which had basically zero input from the people of the region--created a conflagration that has yet to be put out.
No, that’s not true. Granted there have always been conflicts in the Middle East but not necessarily between Jews and Palestinians. When one visits that area one is hit by the history there because it slaps you in the face. Jerusalem has been the magnet for people of all religious beliefs. Look at the history of the place. Rome, the Crusades, the Moslems-they’ve all thought at one time or the other that they deserved that specific slice of the country but then mix in the ingrained religious belief that that specific place is given to you by the god you believe in and you will have conflict. Add to that the deliberate carve out of Palestine to create a special Jewish state and you’ve now created a highly explosive situation with deeply held religious beliefs.
I read a very interesting history of the area where basically all the religious groups co-existed, but there were traditional battles between certain Arab tribes on camel and horseback.
Good riddance. The real reason they cancel - they have to pay so much for groceries and gasoline for their trucks they could no longer afford truth and reason.
Of all the things that someone may call you and be accurate, antisemite is not one of them. "Jeff must spend a lot on shampoo!" "Boy, that Tiedrich guy sure swears a lot." "I wish he'd decide between a trio or a triptych of Claudia pics. Pick a word!"
Interesting how they came to that decision from this post. I guess unless you love Bibi, condone everything he does, and face the reality that the progressives are on to something that might help us, you could be antisemitic. Puzzling.

Nice Doc, I believe the story was Drumpf heard of the Iranian threat, and was hustled off AF 1,but let the flight carry-on,letting the press and most of his staff literally take a missile for him if need be, that's how he rolls.
Yep, that's what I heard too. Smuggled him off AF1 in a catering truck and onto another gubmint, non-AF1 plane. Later some wondered if the threat was a Bibi intervention to prevent any peace talks between drumpf and Iran
Remember his telling the reporter (before the catering truck caper was known, but after the fact): "If I go, you go." Except Demento went to a catering truck and left everyone abord AF1 completely unaware that they might be taking one on his behalf.
This will be another chapter in Demento's new book, "Profiles in Chickenshit."

goddammit, this was *supposed* to be a post crowing about Francesca Hong's victory. at least that's what I thought I'd be writing about when I went to bed last night.
Hong (39.3%) and Crowley (39.8%) SO CLOSE!! She has given full support to Crowley-so let’s slam this damn thing away from disgusting trump ahole…Tom Tiffany!
There was about an inch of policy differences between all the candidates. The main difference between Crowley and Hong is that the former has said he won't end the voucher program* and he won't put a moratorium on AI centers*.
* It's unclear to me if the governor can do either of these things without the state lege and it's unclear if Crowley would veto such legislation if put before him. I doubt it.
It was by far an interesting race. But I dont think that means that we are fuckin hindered, I think we will still win at the end, moderate or progressive.
Jeff, let you and I have some fun here. So Mike Lindell gave us a preview for how the midterms are gonna go for Trump, the GOP and the Admin.
Mike Lindell lost by eleven points and 45,000 votes and called the arithmetic impossible.
Sir, it's subtraction. Asked if he'd accept the AP's call, the Duke of Do-Over said: "Why would I listen to the AP?" Why indeed. Why listen to anybody who counts. Deny the count. Allege the anomaly. Summon the phantom ballots. Refuse to concede. Let the fury do the rest.
The best part of the MAGA primary for governor in MN was that voters rejected BOTH the Trump-endorsed and the state Republican Party-endorsed candidate.
This went from racism to sexism disguised as trans-panic pretty damn fast. I'm so sorry that Trans people is the most easy to hate right now. It's so mind boggling stupid and cruel.
At least they haven't figured out an angle to blame gas prices on trans people! Still waiting for the D's to do a Fox-level messaging campaign answering every trans-related question as follows: "I'm focused on t,he real problems facing Americans, problems that affect every one of our households, like the failed Iranian war that is driving up gas and food prices." Pivot, right away, always.
I like Francesca Hong too but this is Wisconsin. Very progressive in some areas but very regressive in other areas. The republicans would have had a field day tearing her apart. They will not be able to do as much damage to Crowley but they will still try because that's what republicans do - tear people apart for the slightest human error while screaming if anyone does that to them.
Wisconsinites have elected "box of rocks dumb" Ron Johnson for three Senate terms. His latest victory was against Democratic Lieutenant Governor
Mandela Barnes. He scared the voters claiming that Barnes (Black man with "scary" first name) would be soft on crime. But Johnson only won by ONE % POINT! So Dems are getting closer to a win. Also, Wisconsinites, please tell me how Ron Johnson has conquered crime in your state? ICE agents hassling people trying to go to work or pick their kids up from daycare DOESN'T COUNT!
RoJo was the incumbent and Barnes (ooh scary black man, as you said) came very close to unseating him and that was WITH clear voter suppression in the largest and blackest city. It was actually remarkable but of course everyone took it as huge negative.
Tiffany isn't an incumbent, though, so I think the Dems can beat him.
Yes, they’ve been doing that to Troy Jackson in Maine too. They don’t say a word about what Susan Collins will do for them - or has NOT done for them - just that Troy Jackson is BAD news! They already drove Graham Platner out…hopefully the good people of Maine will finally wake up that the pearl clutching Susan doesn’t truly represent them…
I once had a little pug dog that if I'd had it today I would have called it "GOP." He made weird orgasmic grumbling noises as he ate or when you rubbed his belly - but try lifting one of his paws off the ground, or showing him a brush, and he's squeal like you were dipping him in boiling water!
Idk, he's Black and from Milwaukee, they'll bear down hard with the racism. Tiffany is mostly unknown in southern WI, but he's the hard-right lapdog of an historically-unpopular president, and also not a personable guy, unless your type is Angry QAnon Grandpa. The Dems need to saddle him with Trump's economy until he can't move from the weight of it.
Primary race polling has been *off* a bit this cycle, to put it nicely. Last week the closeness of the race broke for progressives, this week it broke for moderates. Either way, it's over. We have a general election to win, so it's time we all unite and beat the living daylights out of every MAGA candidate.
I'm from Milwaukee. Tiffany was licking his chops at the thought of Hong as his opponent, in fact the Republican Governors Association secretly put $16 million into ads supporting Hong. Wisconsin is evenly split, with independents in the center deciding to general elections. Crowley has been an excellent County Executive, bringing that experience with a progressive agenda. Hong has been saddled with some past statements that quite frankly were just weird. Equally important is a more representative legislature with fairer maps. Tiffany claims he will fix Madison, rooting out fraud. Since Republicans have been in the majority for the last 16 years with gerrymandered districts, I've asked Tiffany supporters if its the Republican legislators fault-silence. Tiffany is financially supported by two billionaires Richard Uihlein , owner of ULine industrial supply and heir to the Schlitz Brewing fortune and Diane Hendricks, ABC Building Supply. Democratic grassroots support will be strong going forward. And there is a chance to flip 2 congressional seats held by Republicans. Its all about winning the general election.
There are plenty of yahoos in Wisconsin who will embrace Tiffany’s I-grew-up-on-a-dairy-farm-and-my-mom-quilts garbage. They know nothing of his voting record or don’t care or admire his near 100% support of Trump. They certainly would not have voted for Hong whom I supported, nor will they vote for the scary Black guy.
El-Sayed and Mamdani are so smart...now, if ignorant Americans can get over their irrational fear of scary "socialism" and scary Muslims. 🙄 I dont give a tinkers damn what their religion is. Let's end this oligarchy and do what's right for ALL people.
We're close to rock bottom, if not already there, and the only way out is to vote out every Republican in every office.
I wish I could have had a martini with Claudia. What great pictures. ❤️
I admire Claudia's martini shots, as she looks up in her all knowing glowing flowing warmth of wisdom. If I had but one, I'd be gonzo. Cheers to her memory.
Maybe if people stop calling it socialism and just call everyone Democrats regardless of their slant, we may have a chance to win the House and Senate. But in a 3 way election, Republicans win becauae they spit the vote.
Why dont they just drop the socialism part. Its not fea of socialism, its fear they will give away the election to the Republicans. People aren't stupid its just they are too busy to dig deep into an issue. Just call all candidates Democrats and take another weapon away from the Republicans.
Now we got two Muslim guys on the scene who outclass every troll who comes after them. And may I add, they're both hotter than food truck falafel. I have no problem with dishy, whip-smart, progressive Democrats of any stripe.
El Sayeds opponent, Stevens, who lost by less than one percent is an incredibly liberal 4 term congress woman. She is great, she also warmly congratulated and endorsed el Sayed because she wants what's good for the Democratic Party. You should too because its the only issue that will let us take over the House and Senate.
I support el sayed but his opponent was Haley Stevens and she is very class act and a smart congress woman . She enthusiastically threw support to El Sayed. A very classy woman considering she lost by less than 1%.
Abdul will be elected POTUS in 2028. You heard it first here.
He was the valedictorian of University of Michigan, so he's smart. And when he gave the valedictory address, Bill Clinton told him that he could have a future in politics. Bill Clinton is not my favorite human being, but he sure knew his politics
Sadly, this country is too gd racist to elect him as POTUS just based on his name alone just like it's too homophobic to elect Buttigieg, another great candidate and too misogynist to elect a woman. But hopefully the tides will eventually turn and he's young so hope springs eternal.
Or maybe Democrats might consider electing a candidate who actually has held office. Look it how scewed up Trump has bern who was also elected for his popularity instead of his experience.
Not if Pritzker, Beshear, Shapiro or Newsome run. A governor is much more qualified than someone who has never held office before. We need more from.a President than you think he's sexy and good looking.
Remember Trump never held office before he became President either and look what a mess he made.
Obama had only two years in the Senate before he was elected president. I think intelligence is the primary qualification. El Sayed has served as Public health official.
He also has two medical degrees and I would be damned grateful if he were appointed Secretary of Heath & Human Services by a Democratic President to repair RFK Jr.'s ugly mess.
He's like an edgier Mamdani; both of them are super smart, practical, tired of the bullshit. I just worry that there are too many Michiganians who are skeeeeered of Arabic men. It's so disheartening.
Have you seen his ads? The one with his grandparents plays right into the MAGA racism and makes it look foolish; starts out like a scare ad in black and white with an older white woman snarling "WHERE did Abdul El-Sayed come from???!"
Then flashes to color with her and a jovial-looking spouse laughing and saying "Here! We're his grandparents!" It's just brilliants. "He knows what things cost because he brings us groceries every week..." etc etc. https://www.instagram.com/reel/Db8NxKvu1Pk/
Another one has him dancing to some country tune, with his staffers, wearing one of those red-white-and-blue straw cowboy hats (ie stealing the patriotic/jingoistic trope the MAGAs use) but with captions like "medicare for all" etc. replacing the song's lyrics. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaWQSA7v4sk/?hl=en
It’s not just MAGA that’s riled up and spreading lies about progressives. It’s also Dem Boomers who claim they’re “moderate” and want to maintain the status quo that worked only for them. They’re also the last generation that still scares easily when anyone says communism and can’t seem to understand the difference between that and socialism. I know I’ll get some hate for saying this, but I keep seeing this in the comments and articles on Substack which definitely skews older in terms of audience. I also know that not ALL boomers think this way but it seems like a lot.
I highly recommend Robert Reich’s article on the “3rd Way” group. It’s horrifying. The 3rd Way is filled with the wealthy and include turncoats such as Manchin and Sinema.
I’m a 70 year old boomer- and from the red state of West Virginia- and I don’t feel that way! We have plenty of people who despise Trump and MAGA and want to move into the future. The status quo is not working for we the people, although we do have more than our share of dumb and ignorant people that don’t get it.
Oh, I agree!West Virginia will be totally blue when pigs fly! So many people here are so ignorant that they will never view anything through an unbiased lens.
I'm a late boomer (1964) and the communism/socialism thing doesn't seem to be so scary to anyone born from 1960 onwards. I think it mainly impacts early boomers who lived through the red scare. Although much of it depends on geographic location. My Mom is 82 and remembers drills where they hid under desks to shelter from nuclear bombs. She would not ever in a million years vote republican and neither would her friends but we're in Chicago. Insular communities breed more fear of the different.
My friends who were born in the late 40s and early 50s remember those drills at school and today we laugh about how hiding under an old wooden desk is supposed to shield you from a nuclear blast
And now it's part of school shooter drills. Not a laughing matter at any level. This country would rather indulge in pretend-safety exercises than ban assault rifles and mandate adequate mental health services for everyone.
Boomers grew up being taught that *socialism* (as policy) is defined as the state/gov't owning the means of production. The fact that the term has been conveniently or subjectively redefined by Bernie Sanders and progressives, does not change history or our dictionaries. What would be so difficult about explaining what democratic socialists do NOT want for this country? Y'all are always dragging Dems about messaging, so it seems like the issue could be cleared up easily - not only for Boomers, but conservatives who are buying into the fear-mongering about socialism and communism.
The problem with dictionary definitions of socialism is it is not nuanced or explained in practical terms. Social Democracy keeps a capitalist market economy but used high taxes (go after the wealthy) and strong government to care for everyone. Most Americans cannot do nuance.
Great! let's divide the party. Let's split the Democratic vote. We can have differences of opinion. I know people who didn't think Obama had enough experience but they voted for him anyway. I knew a lot of people who didn't like Hilary Clinton and they voted for her anyway. I know people who said Harris wasnt the person right person to run (I know she was the only one who could run that late in the campaign) but I voted for her.
Vote for Democrats no matter what. Trump is a fascist. Ask yourself what would you do to stop Hitler. The answer should be anything. The same question here, what would you do to stop Trump? The answer is anything. We need to think of the 10s of thousands of people in detention camps. We cannot fuck up this election. They are counting on us.
Great column, as usual, but I cannot agree with you on Hong. She would have gotten creamed in the general election. She also had difficulty walking back some social media posts from the past. What differentiates Mandami and El-Sayed is that they are very good at the policy and the political part. Hong just isn't in their league.
Its Islamist they dont like its someone willing to dived the Democratic vote. If he runs as a Dremocrat and the opponent is Republucan, he has my vote. If he runs a Democratic Socialist and runs against a Democrat AND a Republican. Our votes wont count.
When did the ballots change to Democrat and Democratic Socialist as separate categories? I have yet to hear from any leader of the Democratic party that the party is now split into two and all candidates, across the nation, will now run in one or the other category. Where have you gotten all this information about the new three party set up for all upcoming elections/
Then why do they call themselves Democratic Socialists? Why is Trump constantly going on that he was right the Democrats are communists because its in their name? We may understand the difference but most people not obsessed with politics like us, wont see the difference. Every clip of AOC or El sayed talking about Democratic Socialism is being made into a political ad for Republicans.
Broken indeed and from afar (Canada) it looks quite bleak now, unrecognizable from the USA I knew and visited so many times. I'm reading Timothy Snyder's On Freedom at the moment and it's very interesting in that freedom is a concept long, long absent from USian politics. Of course it's worse this past year than in all of its history. No one is free in the US but the jingoism will convince its citizens with "land of the free" blah blah nonsense that it is. Blacks, immigrants, women? Not a hope of it or very slim, indeed. The emergence of these powerful figures, El Sayed, Mamdani are such a beacon of light as they are uplifting and know what freedom is. No stress from rent costs, grocery bills, etc. and universal health care, FFS. And the right to be who you want to be without restraint. The test of civilization is how we treat the least of us. We all need to feel safe and cared for.

WHAT? 🤦♀️ You can be critical of Israel without being anti Jewish. Bibi is a murderous asshole. I dont understand how ignorant people can be???

Well said. I think women should just run everything.
It would be a better world
Joyce: 🏆🏆🏆🏆
Both of whom are stirring up all the war shit they can to avoid going to prison. Fixed it for you.
Do you honestly think they will ever stop fighting?
Yes
My suggestion is a 3 part solution - make Jerusalem an international city managed by UNESCO; and provide a separately governed Israeli and Palestinian homeland.
"I support the existence of Israel: the Jewish people have a right to a homeland." El-Sayed does not.
that's not their homeland
Sorry. This community may be better off without them anyway.
Just proves the Right doesn’t have a monopoly on idiots.
As a Jew who is critical of Israel I find that highly amusing.
Being anti-Netanyahu and not wanting our tax dollars to fund genocide is NOT being antisemite.
You don't need subscribers who are too stupid to make the distinction.
The collective IQ of your remaining paid subscribers is only rising. Let them fuck off with their pitchfork-toting, cancel culture hurt butts.
Seriously!? How is being against genocide antisemitism? How is being against war antisemitism?
they have nothing else so create the twisted logic
I would never cancel my subscription. Although El Sayed is friends with Hasan Piker although he is distancing himself from it.
My feeling is the Israelis and the surrounding Arab countries have literally been fighting for 60 years. This violence is their main industry. It should not even be an issue in our elections.
I may be wrong, and if I am, someone please correct me but......
Has not this area of the planet ALWAYS been fighting?!

Thank you for the history lesson.
The conflict between the Sunnis and Shi'ites dates to the time of Mohammed.
Like the conflicts between Protestants and Catholics in the British Isles.
Exactly--and the various tribal conflicts go back even further. But the Sykes-Picot Agreement--which had basically zero input from the people of the region--created a conflagration that has yet to be put out.

Not everybody "gets" you Jeff. Fuq em
Their loss for sure.
More Jeff for the rest of us. 😂
What is 10/200,000? Oh, zero...Keep up the great work 👏

Was it just an Israeli ploy
That the Iranians wanted to destroy
The flying bordello of FatFuck
So they hid him in a catering truck
Leaving staff and the press as a decoy

I wonder if Trump gifted himself the food truck. After all it is a food truck.
I heard it "was" full on hamburders.
Nice. You gotta believe Lord Lardass would have snagged a couple (or six) ringdings when passing through the catering truck for immediate gluttony, thrown a few in his pocket "for later", and crushed a few dozen more to ruin the snacks for others.
and diet coke
That is a good one!
He IS a food truck
Sneaking off the flying Qatari blimp to hide in a catering truck and switch planes, while Rubio and other staff members, plus reporters, are left on the jumbo as a decoy is such a dick move. It would make a great Larry David comedy sketch.
"Republicans who work only for their oligarch overloads."
It's a typo, but it's an INTERESTING typo.
yeah but I gotta fix it
Add "and Democrats" also, please. We currently have bipartisan politician purchasing in most cases.
Then you have JD bent over taking the load of Master Theil.
I like it!🤣🤣
I think we can all pretty much guess... Pirro is going to lie her ass off to this special grand jury because her Orange Overlord ordered her to through his bright, shiny, new Roy Cohn type henchman - about those traitorous vandals who desecrated the holy (crony fucked-up) reflecting pool by Gasp, touching the water.
Remember the movie "Gremlins"? The rules were 1) Don't get it wet and 2) don't feed after midnight or it will spawn more gremlins. Somebody got Roy Cohn wet AND fed him after midnight and now he's all over Washington D.C.
Could someone enlighten me as to why the judge is taking so long to figure out if this case should be dismissed with prejudice or without?
What are the chances that Donnie put his big fat ass of approval on the plan?
clearly, whatever this is, it's designed to mollify Dear Leader
She's doing it to save her "job"
My thought too. Try to connect all the cases she lost and send a report to dear leader that it wasn’t her fault
but will lose her license in the process like the rest
Fauci
She's got to give Schmucko a huge trophy to get back in his good graces.
Great guess!
Smells like boxwine to me. Cheap, dirty, and a lot of it.
And all her victims will get stuck with the hangover.
Still trying to prosecute someone for the Reflecting Pool that Preznit Fuckwit can’t admit was his fault. Oh Lord I’m so tired of this idiocy.
Isn't she re-litigating the poor olympian rower who dared touch a piece of floating paint because Trump can't let it go?
Kissing Dear Leader's ASS so she can keep her job instead of being a sane person, retiring, and moving to a beautiful place.
She’s doing exactly what her puppet master wants her to do; create a rubber stamp grand jury and then get busy persecuting his enemies. She will do this at the expense of what’s left of her law license because-reasons.
she is really trying hard to have her bar license revoked like the rest of the sycophants....I hope she suceeds
Will she follow the hallowed path of Lyndsey Halligan and invent a whole tale of BS for the grand jury? Isn't there any way these shits can be disbarred?

I’m listening to Crowley now. I think he’ll be good, and I hope he and Hong work well together to keep another Trump loving asshole out of office.
I cannot begin to express how ANGRY I am at ICE, Trump, the GOP, the SC, and every fucking idiot who voted for Trump.
yes, Crowley isn't evil. He's a good guy. Hong may have been better - but not like Crowley is bad.
I doubt it.
We shall see!
It was by far an interesting race. But I dont think that means that we are fuckin hindered, I think we will still win at the end, moderate or progressive.
Not if we divide the Party. They should all run as Democrats. It's a big tent.
I hope you are right.
Amen.
Hear! Hear!
Oh yeah!!!!!

So sick of the “trans panic”…they make it up because they have zero brain cells/thinking capacity. Great post Wendy!
Hoping a lot of Republicans are as sick as we are of this baloney.
I hope so. Group identity is super strong, though, IME.
I love dogs.
Please tell me the Democratic socialist wont be on the national election with the Democrats!
That will be up to the voters, as it always is. Big tent means everybody.
FatFuck ain't at all too fawny
About the tax plans of Mamdani
He wants the rich to pay their share
Call it a city improvement fare
drumpf is a whiny orange punani
YES! 👏👏👏👏👏 another winner!!
I would love to know Claudia's favorite martini. On Election Day, I'll make one (maybe 2?) and raise a glass in her memory.
Me too! ❤️
That outspew by Teddy Cruz appears to be a blend of old Rush Limbaugh lines run through a Mortimer Snerd generator.
Love this! Fidel Cancun Snerd!
I definitely think we should be calling him Fidel (Ted) Cruz on official references, but Fidel Cancun is just too, too good for everyday usage!
I like it. Trouble is there are stupid people who dont read and probably never heard of Castro.
I do think we should be calling everyone by their full name from now on. So that's Rafael Edward Cruz.
😂
Now we got two Muslim guys on the scene who outclass every troll who comes after them. And may I add, they're both hotter than food truck falafel. I have no problem with dishy, whip-smart, progressive Democrats of any stripe.
My sister messaged me an El-Sayed ad & said "I'd vote for that." My reply: "I'd do more than vote for that! Just sayin..." LOL
I couldn't get past her allegiance to AIPAC
I support el sayed but his opponent was Haley Stevens and she is very class act and a smart congress woman . She enthusiastically threw support to El Sayed. A very classy woman considering she lost by less than 1%.
Whew. Ya covered a lot of ground there, Jeff. Good to see you back. So much fuckery, so little time.
Put your bet on Polymarket NOW!
Sadly, this country is too gd racist to elect him as POTUS just based on his name alone just like it's too homophobic to elect Buttigieg, another great candidate and too misogynist to elect a woman. But hopefully the tides will eventually turn and he's young so hope springs eternal.
Barack Hussein Obama got elected twice, and not one of his names is American.
He also was a State Representative for 8 years and US senator for 3 years.
Or maybe Democrats might consider electing a candidate who actually has held office. Look it how scewed up Trump has bern who was also elected for his popularity instead of his experience.
wouldn't that be something. But I doubt it could happen. Maybe VP (with Pete as pres)
Nope, won't be happening. In fact his winning the Senate seat is an open question so long as he can't disavow far left bigot Hasan Piker.
I'm delighted to have voted for El-Sayed.
Wow! Those ads are wonderful, especially the line dancing!
Those ads are great!

Not enough people in West Virginia despise Trump and MAGA. When West Virginia is totally Blue, I will believe it!
Jeff, today’s writing is forty pounds of romp in’, stomp in’ and I am here for it!
Great column, as usual, but I cannot agree with you on Hong. She would have gotten creamed in the general election. She also had difficulty walking back some social media posts from the past. What differentiates Mandami and El-Sayed is that they are very good at the policy and the political part. Hong just isn't in their league.
Absolutely agree! Signed, A Disappointed Sara Rodrigues Supporter.
Oh no! The Islamists are coming!
Americans! Better get running!
Let's cancel the vote
And lick GOP scrote
They're telling the truth, they ain't funning!
'Cause Drumpf is a fat orange loser
Who thinks of himself as a bruiser
But he's ugly and bloated
In orange he's coated
A liar, a cheat, an excuser!
Like what you just read? Then subscribe to my Substack!
Good one!
I LOVE the pictures of Claudia!!! Three cheers for Dr. al Sayed!!!!!!
I LOVE these guys! (and gal!) I hope they keep putting those MAGA asshats in their place all the way to the midterms.
"The test of civilization is how we treat the last of us. We all need to feel safe and cared for."
That is a perfect sentence.
